You saw in the Super Bowl, if you cannot protect, you cannot win in this league no matter who you have at the skilled positions. It's that simple. Eagles OL was one of the worst hit by injuries, even more so then the Cowboys.

That's always been the truth, for as long as this game has been played. Both sides of the lines matter and whomever can control the LOS will win the games at a very, very high percentage of the time.

Truth is, IMO, the team who can sign Wentz and give him a decent OL and some tools to work with is going to get a pretty good QB. Wentz, IMO, has never been better then the top QBs in this league, even in the year they wanted to give him the MVP but, he did play really, really well when he had talent surrounding him. What changed? Well, the contract and the cap implications changed. The talent started leaving for money elsewhere and pretty soon, you had Wentz getting the crap knocked out of him. That changed everything and so, the GM is trying to lay it off like it's Wentz. Well, it might be or it might not be. It might be the contract and the fact that it prevents the team from getting good. Who's fault is that, that's the GMs fault and that's why, IMO, he is not trying to get rid of Wentz and start over. He's trying to shift blame here IMO. Now, Wentz might be done, that might be true but we definitely know that the contract situation is terrible and the Eagles don't have enough talent, to speak of. Both could be true or somebody could be getting a hell of a good deal on a QB if they have everything else.

I usually chomp down a breakfast burrito smothered in green chile, and wash it down with a beer.

I feel like my method works better. When the Boys stayed up too late drinking or what have you, I made sure to wake them up all early and have a nice little job all picked out for them to do. The Wife would get up early and make the breakfast, the Boys would all get up and get put to work and by the time the temps were reaching about 95, everybody just forgot about their hangovers and started thinking about finishing the job so they could get out of the heat.

Works every time, even with me when I was the Boy staying out too late and getting put to work. ;)

I don't think Wentz Contract really had any barring on the team's decline. Had both sides of the line of scrimmage stacked. Poor drafting and an aging roster caught up with them. When you roster starts to get old, they have to have prospects ready to step in.

What NFL franchise do you work for?
You only make that wild claim because you know it won't be tested.
I would put up $5000 that Dak wouldn't get two first round picks in a trade.
I’m an NFL owner actually. Not saying which one but a BLOCK BUSTER move is coming in the third week of March with Dak.

remember I said this

This is funny. You call out all these posters as idiots, which is against forum rules BTW, and then you list Dak among QBs who are clearly in a different league all together.

We live in a crazy world.......
ABC Cowboy you don’t know anything

Do the Cowboys get at least a QB back in this scenario?
Ehh I might as well spill it.

Dak is going to be signed and traded to the 49ers for 150m/4 years 3 days after its reported Watson is headed to Miami. Zach Wilson is coming to Dallas btw

Remember to QUOTE me the third week of March.

I write the scripts for the NFL. I use to work for WWE.

You're an owner and write the scripts.......

When are you going to write Dallas winning a superbowl. I think it's been a long enough time already

How many quarterbacks change offensive coordinators and put up 30+ touchdowns?

I definitely put Dak up there because he’s proven he’s not a system quarterback and can play in multiple schemes. It’s funny because I use to think he was Alex Smith with mobility:laugh:

Mahomes, Watson, and Dak are the only young quarterbacks worth a darn.
Dak will be 28 this season, so definitely not old, but not a young pup either. I'd take Burrow/Herbert over Dak in a minute...they're signed too.

Tell JJ we need some news ;) We're so tired of talking about our own QB, we've moved onto division rivals QBs

I'm on it, but we're drinking right now.

I'll probably wake up in another city with nothing but my socks...

But whatevs. There's soy sauce in the fridge and some carrots so I'll make something yummy.
