The cowboys are the only team content with being mediocre, and that is the reason players lile Dak, Tyrone Crawford, and Jaylon Smith last so long here.

Especially when I’m being criticized for not being sold on QBs who played in offenses that got them drafted lower then they should have been drafted.. I think the NFL was in agreement with me.. Probably why Mahomes admittedly couldn’t read a defense and I know Watson couldn’t either based on what he was asked to do at Clemson.

Some of this stuff is just beyond the normal fans brain capacity and I have to keep that in mind when I’m giving my opinions.

I think the difficulty in finding QBs is that teams insist on finding the next Peyton Manning instead of just getting a good QB. Watson, Kyler Murray and Jackson are the anti-Peyton Manning.

These QBs go as their situation goes. You put a solid team around them and they’ll do fine. You surround them by trash and they will not be very good.

And Patrick Mahomes showed his true colors also. It’s all about the scheme it’s all about the team the culture of the coaching. Prescott is an absolute winner what he brings to the table. Carson Wentz brought nothing other than selfishness

I really don’t think cat space has anything to do with quarterback and having a team around him. It’s the other people that are overpaid that shouldn’t be usually. Because the coach other GM has loyalty to that particular player. How many players in this team would’ve been going to Bill Belichick was the coach. That’s why he was great for so long because he didn’t pay the top dollar he didn’t have to because he knew everything else that it took to win

You just listed a lot of good solid QBs.

Haskins is the only completely terrible QB on that list.

Trubisky is busting but has had his moments but it’s fair to say he is done even though I think he gets similar results to Dak.

Darnold I like as a lottery ticket. Still very young.

The rest would get the same results as Dak had they been in Dallas.

I would not be opposed to bringing in a “bust” QB like Trubisky if he were cut by Chicago and he is willing to sign a low risk (cheap) contract.

Maybe I missed your meaning, but if you think this one loss is Patrick Mahomes true colors, you are mistaken. He and his entire team was beat by a far better defense. I hope I misunderstood as this one game is certainly not his true colors.

I think Trubisky has something but like you I want to see it for an Andy Dalton type of deal.
