Give Dak $40 million per year. Draft a QB at 10 or higher if they can get there. Cryogenically freeze Dak until such time that his leg is 100% and his contract is a bargain. It will only impact his eyesight for a brief time until his eyes can adjust.
lol, not a bad idea to have 27 y.o Dak at $40m in 2035

You can post whatever you want I really don’t care.

I wasn’t posting an opinion piece though. It was more about facts

Jimmy and I also agreed about Dalton and a lot of you whined about that. So is Jimmy a credible source again for you?
No I am just saying that he also said we should sign Dak. Why didnt you post that one?

Is there any proof that Dalton couldn’t get similar team results to Dak?

Turns out they win at the same rate and I was right.
Yeah there is. Dalton folded when the lights turned on in the Giants game. Or are you purposely forgetting how bad Dalton was in that game? He threw one ball that I think hit the upper deck.

Jimmy Johnson saying we should sign Dak is an opinion.
So is the piece you posted. Should I repost it so you can re read it? Its someone discussing their "opinion" about what Dak needs to do after hes paid. Thats not a fact. Its someone's opinion. Which i 100 percent agree with but, its an opinion none the less.

If thats true it becomes a buyer beware situation, market is already reducing with teams like Rams, Eagles getting out of those contracts, even eating the dead money to do so.
Owners are showing their leverage with these moves, the market is shifting for the smart shoppers,, we know the Rams gave up the farm for Stafford, and the Eagles are eating how much dead cap?
Easy to laugh and poke fun at these decisions, but there is a reason why this is happening.
I completely agree, they are trying to stay away from how the NBA and its players are handling things

People saying Dak has had no help is major re-writing of history. This guy walked into a line-up that had multiple all-pro-linemen on OL, the best RG in the league, a top half of the league scoring defense, all he had to do was drive the bus and most of his fans were saying this latest roster was SB bound and were laughing at how much Wentz was losing once the season began.

Then they cry about the roster, but then when Dalton has an even worse roster that Dak has EVER played with, they use Dalton as an excuse that this team needs Dak. Of course Dak has NEVER proved he could get the ball out quickly like Dalton was doing in this mess of an OL, Dalton actually known for being a quick-release guy and Dak has shown complete ineptitude throughout his career when losing Smith, let alone starting third-string OL scrubs, and suddenly they think Dak would have had this team in the play-offs.

By the time they played the Browns, that garbage defense at the time was jumping pretty much all of Dak's stare-down routes and by the time the Giants game came around, Moore had to take the ball out of Dak's and feed Zeke major. It's in the full play-by-play... Dak was a hot mess this season, with like 4 INTs and 3 TOs and this whole offense is STILL BUILT on the run game in reality, because of how much Dak is dependent on play-action. And with this OL in what appears to be major disarray and a deteriorating Zeke, the waste of this roster to train the Garrett of QBs Dak, whose success has always bee predicated on being a system QB as is evidenced every time you take away a schematic player, like Beasley in 2017, he completely looks like garbage.

Further, it's extremely comical that people think Dak would have played better by the end of the year in these circumstances, when throughout his history, he actually gets worse as the season goes on, like last year, unless its a meaningless season finale against a bottom dweller team.

Always some excuse for Dak.. Always.

Not excuses its reality. Should i show you the games when he beat up on good teams? You like to pick and choose like a baby. I can show a lot more videos of Dalton choking than Dak. You seem to like to leave out key plays that other players made in those games up there. Mainly fumbles by Witten, Zeke, etc. But hey. Its all on Dak! In your weird world

To quote myself.

Dak isn’t holding us back. The team is.

I just wish he didn’t want so much money that we lose almost all hope of a super bowl.

It’s not just that his contract will be bad it’s the several other bad deals we have.

The question about 2019, as I said, was irrelevant to the point I made, so why let you turn attention from my point by changing the topic and acting as if it was relevant?

Now, if you want to change the topic and talk about 2019, I did at least partially address it by showing the 2019 record was not indicative of Cowboy records over Dak's entire career, and that record is a team thing that involves more than just who the QB is. But I do admit there was too much inconsistency in 2019, both with Dak and the team as a whole. I don't have a problem saying Dak was inconsistent in 2019 - do you have a problem saying Dak has shown a lot of good over his career?

Shown a lot of good what? Look at his career stats in wins and in losses and see what Dak has done in those 27 losses. Just because he can beat up on a poor NFC East means nothing.
