I do agree. It can go either way. There's no wrong answer.

But what I do love about the Watson argument is that it shows who just has a ulterior motive when it comes to Dak. Because the biggest thing they say about Dak is his W/L record the last 17 games of the season.......but by doing that they have to acknowledge that Watson went 4-12 last year.

Okay...you gave me your definition of military leadership.

You didn't actually answer my question. You said "Dak has leadership" that you claim Watson doesn't have. I am unclear what "mission" you think Dak has accomplished....that Watson hasn't.

If by "accomplish the mission"...you mean a playoff game and 8-8...fine. I don't see it that way. I'm not sure a SB win is "accomplish the mission"...but certainly, at our juncture, an appearance would be excellent.

I again ask you....what "leadership" has Dak shown to you....and that Watson DOESN'T have. It's really a simple question...a discussion. A civil one at that, if possible. On a claim YOU made. I wanted you to flesh it out, tell me why. Not give vague/general definitions.

We've "accomplished the mission"? What? Hardly.
You are pretty dense so let me spell it out for you. You’ve obviously never served in the military. You probably get all your NFL takes from your Madden experience. Which you obviously have tons of. Kudos to you.

Dak has the ability to lead men to accomplish whatever is in front of them. That’s the leadership he has. You don’t get it because you have no idea what sacrifice, commitment is. They will go above and beyond to help Dak accomplish his goal. To win. Now you’re first reaction, as is all haters and losers, is but his win/loss record. Dak leads the offense and it’s been #1 in the NFL when he plays the last 2 years. The defense has been near the bottom.

And you are an asshat...without any respect for people what so ever.

"leading the offense to #1"....is "the mission"? It's not. The "mission" is to FIGHT and WIN. WIN IT ALL. If you do not win...then the mission is NOT accomplished. No matter how valiantly you fought or "lead".

You are telling me a "leader" only wins PART of the battle.

The "mission" is not to be #1 offense for a little bit once in awhile....but ...to WIN the super bowl.

You think Brady did not show leadership to Tampa defense? You are deluded. He inspired the WHOLE team..and didn't give a damn if he "lead the offense to #1 stats".

And you have the balls to question ME....just because you served? A huge F YOU back at you.....with all...due...respect of course.

:lmao::lmao::lmao2::lmao2: Never said the mission was to be #1 offense. Not sure where you got that other than stating it to further your agenda. The goal is to be successful and a Dak led offense scores points. He scores more points than a top 10 or 15 defense gives up. Asshat? LOL, look in the mirror.

It’s this simple. If you like Dak, you like Watson. They are virtually the same QB with Dak slightly edging him out because of his brain and arm. Dak is a bit more football savvy, and his arm is stronger. Watson has had to run for his life every year, and play from behind most the time. those two things will cause stats to go places they normally don’t have to. Dak got some help from good QB coaching including a year of Romo. Watson is good but it’s crazy how all of a sudden he’s on the level of a Mahomes, Wilson, and Rogers. Why is it that in the year 2021 all fans only look to yards passed to see how good a QB is. Dak is going to cost 40Mil, and Watson is going to cost 40mil and some major picks. I swear this is a group of 14 year old Madden kids in here trying to act like they know something!!!
you can't be serious

So what is the mission? You CLAIMED a leader succeeds in the "mission". You CLAIMED Watson doesn't have it....and yet we have nothing more than him.

I caught you in your lie, your illogic. Don't be mad at me because you don't know your own sht stinks.

What is your mission soldier? Some half assed stat? Or....complete mission accomplished? You, soldier, can't have it both ways. It's either a complete success or complete failure.

The "goal is to be successful"? At kills or the mission? You are a rogue.

Agree.

Dak and Watson are on the same level - solid 6-10 range behind:

1. Brady
2. Rogers
3. Mahomes
4. Allen
5. Wilson

Overnight we have been transported to separate planets or alternate universes.

Dak is better than Watson? Are we talking about the Watson who upset Alabama for the championship 4 years ago?
Dak is smarter than Watson? Huh? How do you measure that, old boy?
And you forgot to include 10 or so more QBs who are winning more or better than Dak, who is an average player, has one playoff victory, no college championships and now walking gingerly on a foot that can snap again.
In my book, Watson is an 8.
Dak is a 4.

You’ve got issues. I never said a leader succeeds in the mission. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose but a leader can instill in his men the will to follow and try. I never claimed Watson doesn’t have leadership skills. I implied Dak has more and from what I’ve seen, that’s the truth. You didn’t catch me in a lie fool.

I’m not a soldier, I’m a Marine. Big difference which you don’t understand and never will.

Allen has been to a Conference Championship game in his first 3 years so I put him ahead of Dak.

Mark Buttfumble Sanchez played in a couple of conference championship games. "He" even beat Brady to get there. He must've been quite a special QB.

Then again, maybe the rest of the team has something to do with wins and losses.

Yep, in his first or second year. A woman he dated decided to get revenge I guess. He sent her some picks that I can’t mention here.
Wow, I seriously did not know that. I got curious and I googled "Dak Prescott questionable photos". THANK GOD I did not see the pictures he sent that woman.

You know his reminds me of when I was in high school. There was these 3 poets, I would go as far as saying they were modern day Shakespearians. Their names were Bell Biv Devoe and they had a saying, "Never trust a big butt and smile".

Dak, take a page from BBD's book and never trust a big butt and a smile. That girl is poison.

Thought you were smarter than this. Gimme.

If I were smarter I would not consider you a good chap.
And I were really smarter I would be chatting with the library lady instead of you.
Guess I will seek her out. She loves it when I say Incarcerated.

I believe they were pictures of Dak shirtless, eating a cheeseburger on the floor.

I really feel like some of y’all know nothing about Deshaun Watson. The guy never gave up last year on a craptastic team that went 4-12. So save me he’s not a leader etc. The guy is a stud. I don’t know where he and Dak are ranking wise but Watson is great. So stop comparing. They may be close but trying to downgrade Watson is fools gold. Concentrate on where Dak needs to be

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.c...d-deshaun-watson-had-an-unprecedented-season/

Only four quarterbacks in NFL history have finished a season with more than 4,500 passing yards, more than 30 touchdowns, fewer than 10 interceptions and an average of more than 8.5 yards per pass. Those quarterbacks were:

Peyton Manning in 2004, when the Colts went 12-4.

Aaron Rodgers in 2011, when the Packers went 15-1.

Matt Ryan in 2016, when the Falcons went 11-5.

And Deshaun Watson in 2020, when the Texans went 4-12.

The Texans lost eight games this season in which Deshaun Watson threw 25 or more passes and had a passer rating over 100. Never before in NFL history had a quarterback lost more than five such games in a season.

https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-deshaun-watson-best-quarterback-2020-houston-texans

That’s why I’m ready to make the argument that Deshaun Watson was not only the best quarterback of 2020, but also that he had the best season of the past 15 years — and maybe ever.

Absolutely nothing went the Texans' way last year, and Watson still routinely played at an elite level. Former Houston head coach and general manager Bill O’Brien traded his team's best receiver, yet Watson played better than ever before. O’Brien was fired midseason, but it didn’t phase the quarterback. He played with a terrible defense, a terrible running game and no star receivers and put up the 19th-best regular-season passing grade of the PFF era (91.2). He’s one of 29 quarterbacks to finish a regular season with a 90.0-plus passing grade.

I kinda was with you and then you had to go all nut job at the end

I believe the league looks at Watson being better than Dak. The draft haul it would take to trade for Watson proves that. Dak would not get the same haul.

you understand these are hypotheticals, correct? We don’t know what it would take to get either.
