Well I agree with the first part, but Chido did not/does not suck. He's a solid starter.

Might agree to disagree. Hard to judge last season with the COVID issue and injuries but not sure how solid he was. But you may be right. Sometimes better the devil you know.

As a rookie, Awuzie started Dallas’ last five games and registered three games with a Pro Football Focus coverage grade of 78 or higher. He then established himself as the Cowboys’ starting left cornerback from 2018-2019, playing in 31 games and starting 30 of them. During those two years, Awuzie recorded two interceptions and 25 passes defensed. He graded out at 63.9 in 2018 and 72.2 in 2019 for overall defense grade, per PFF.

2020 was a different story. Awuzie missed eight games due to a hamstring injury and was later placed on the COVID-19 list. Due to his injuries, he had his worst season with the Cowboys, grading out at 51.9. It was a lost season, which is the exact opposite of what you’d want in a contract year.

Juju fell off alot after Brown left. Averaged less than 9 yards a catch last season. I don't think anyone is paying him good money

Separate and aside from Kazee missing 15 games in 2017 and 12 games in 2020, look at his declining QB Comp % from 2018-2020:

2018: 53.3%
2019: 65.1%
2020: 75%

This is not the guy you want to be signing. As I said, I’d rather just take my chances in the draft at this point. This team has a model and they won’t deviate.
