On point. He's better than either Knight or Steele. I'd say he's as solid as Erving was for us last year and replaces him.

One off, it's not a bad move. But he's the type of guy that when you look over the FA list for a team, he should be the 5th or 6th (at best) move you made in FA. He'll end up being like our 1st or 2nd best move. LOL.

I haven't even seen this guy play to know if he's better or not.

I'll even go under the assumption he is better for argument's sake.

Is he that much better to where you'd even spend a penny on him when you have guys in Steele and Knight who did progress as the season went on? Safe to say being he's a journeyman...he's not.

You guys can try and sell this guy as some solid starter but fact is none of us have seen this guy play and none of us even know who he is. Hell the damn tweet says he's a ex-WFT when he last played for the Bills lol.
I always respect your football opinion Royce but I don’t think not seeing him or better yet not remembering see him play are barometers for if a player is good or not. Nsekhe played multiple games in Washington which is why he’s mentioned there primarily. Played a full game last year in Buff and was very good in it.

As much as we like Knight and he has his moments, he graded out fairly poorly and has appeared on the injury report all throughout his career. Steele was one of the worst T’s in football last year. To go into 2021 with these guys as your main swings would be irresponsible. You can’t just hope guys with such little investment (UDFA’s) can make leaps in improvement and become viable consistent swings.

There was a reason Erving was signed last year. He played well when in but was injured often. Nsekhe is better and more durable. He’s an upgrade at swing. We should hope Knight and Steele don’t have to play again. I know Nsekhe is 36 but his snap count is low so I don’t see him just falling off a cliff as a swing.

Sad but (likely) true!

I understand about the age, and I feel similarly about it, but IMO the guy is a little better than those two. I could be wrong but that’s how I feel.

I guess we’ll see how it goes but I’ve liked him at tackle going back to when he played at Washington.

I made sure to say I never seen him play "or don't recall it anyway" because I want to be clear that my opinion on this move has nothing to do with his talent. He may have it.

I think what frustrates me most is that we have all of these holes on this team...you could argue that tackle is one sure but we have all of these holes on this team and one of the first moves we make is for a tackle. It actually pisses me off. So its nothing against him just the timing of this move. As if we couldn't live without him. Can't miss guy......

What also pisses me off is that it would not shock me at all if he's cut before the regular season starts.......

Yes, because while you may have seen some marginal improvement from Knight, he was terrible. Do you remember the last Giants game with Dalton? He was running for his life all game. Got sacked like 8 times.
Dalton had his own issues. Like I above, I'm not trying to give some glaring review of Knight and/or Steele's play. Its like Diggs to me. Sure, he struggled last year but I'm expecting a improvement there to where he's our #1 after this offseason. They are not the prospects he is so maybe its unfair to expect that but honestly I just have a issue with the timing of this signing. What was the rush to get this guy done?

Are you an NFL scout? How would you know he should be the 5th or 6th move that you made? :lmao2:

I'm good with that too. As long as we have enough bodies ahead of Steele that he doesn't see the field then I am good. We don't need our $160 million dollar guy ending up on IR because of #78.

Steele's getting the axe in camp.
