We just got a really good player. Hopefully he stays healthy. He is a huge upgrade to our back end defense if he does. Adding Kazee and/or Hooker will be icing. Will need one more CB too.
But our defense just got a little bit better.

Sign Kazee or Hooker or both,, I dont care anymore,, just sign all available safeties.
If nothing else, I dig the attention the team is paying towards the position.
Now if they could only give that Sauron's Eye to the 1T position also...

I'm a patient man though and willing to see how the full off-season plays out before going into a conniption.

Finally!!!

Great signing
I have been wanting some agility at the LB position, particularly on 3rd downs. This move gives that and if he stays healthy, it’ll really help.

I’m pretty sure he will be a nickel/dime LB (which is most of the time) but I’m not sure how they’ll use him in the base defense. They might move him back to SS and Wilson back to FS. However, they could plug him in at the Will spot with LVE at Mike and Smith at Sam.

Whichever way they do it should be a big upgrade. Neal is 100x better in coverage than Jaylon so the nickel/dime should be way better off.

Health is the key for me. If he plays without getting hurt, he’ll have a chance of earning a long term deal in Dallas.

I think that they will get a legit 1 technique either in free agency or in the draft.

Totes thinking they're going to focus on Jay Jay being a Leo and simplifying all of his duties.
Here's to wishing upon a star.

I'm just not crazy about the one year deal. I would have preferred 2. I just don't think this year is our year. And if he is really good we'll lose him. Rinse and repeat. Jerry never seems to have a short term plan.

the ACL and Achilles injuries don’t help.

he’s here for one year.

most of these UFA signings are meant to plug holes in the roster.

let’s hope he returns to a pro bowl level.
