He plays all 3 LB positions and is a known leader, which this team needs. Money wise they can do it however it needs to be done. He's not s 10 mil a year type right now

Not disputing that at all.

My point is that this team is already significantly invested in three other linebackers already.

Wright is a winner ... he'd basically be taking Lee's role.

Right now I'm expecting Lee to join Indy either as a player or assistant coach. Likely as a player who then follows Eberflus when he get a HC opportunity

I tend to agree with this. He will probably not be worth his cap hit. Odd situation based on what the Cowboys have been doing so far, unless it’s CHEAP.

I think he’d be a great add to this team’s line backing group. BEFORE they signed Neal to play linebacker and guaranteed Smith’s contract.

Fish has really been pushing this one. I don’t see how he fits? On the field or on the cap. I’d be shocked if anything happened.

2 down linebacker, can also play multiple positions, familiar with Quinn's D. Should absolutely be a fit. Certainly the financials will be a determining factor on if this will work.

From there only question is how do you rotate LBs? Neal isn't a full-time LB and likely will play a little box safety in certain packages too. Wright could play on earlier downs while Neal comes in on 3rd down. With LVEs injury concerns he could also slide to MLB if needed. Unless the Cowboys have interest in Parsons I don't see why KJ wouldn't be a player they wouldn't consider.

It seems like Quinn isn’t fond of the current group of linebackers. He’s already kicked Jaylon out to Sam. He doesn’t want LVE inside, meaning Neal and Wright (if he’s signed) would be in the nickel, which teams run most of the time.

And LVE sits? Sorry, I can’t see it.

We need to get this done!

Signing KJ Wright is a no brainer!

If we can get him for at least 1 year to run Quinn’s defense that would be huge. His knowledge of Quinn’s defense and ability could put this defense in the top 10, with a run stuffing 1 technique and a top CB in the draft.

Restructure contracts and make this happen.

The middle LBer that lead Quinn’s defense to the #1 ranking 2 years in a row and a dominating Super Bowl win MUST be signed!!!

Please, Jerry make this happen!( I think he will, this is the splash move Jerry used to love )

Then you’re paying starter money to four part-time linebackers. Never getting your return on investment.
