Yeah.. He could very easily become a double digit TD guy every season.

If he’s there at 10 take him. Provides the biggest impact of anyone we could draft and we need some impact on this team considering we’re just adding non impactful players this offseason.

Agree if he's there at 10 I take without any hesitation.

Pitts is an elite talent.

You don’t pass on a chance to add a potential true difference maker to add a solid second tier defensive player.

If the team is looking solely at 2021, they might pass on Pitts. But that would be extremely foolish. Gallup is gone after this year and Pitts could well be the best player in this draft.

It’s a moot point though, he won’t be there at 10. Not after this pro day.
If the plan is to let Gallup walk then Pitts would have to be a consideration but I don’t think he last to 10

He’ll get mauled in Philly is he trades up for Pitts.
That may be inevitable anyway. That guy is despised by half the fan base.

If Chase, Smith and Waddle are all gone and Dallas takes Surtain, it may not even matter if he gets a very good Horn.

Theyre going to riot.

Dallas and Dak would do fine in the red zone with better play calling. Stop trying to trick people.
Red zone—
  • RPO
  • Run between the tackles with Zeke or outside with Pollard
  • Look for TE or follow Cooper as he shakes free at some point.
Stop forcing the back shoulder fade, unless you have a huge target like Dez.
And never call the F-ing reverse down there again

:hammer:

How many times have we seen the Cowboys call some really stupid plays that lose yards when they get close to the end zone? It's the bubble screen, the end around, or some similar play that puts the Cowboys into a passing situation then the pass blocking breaks down.

Too f-in many.. I don't know what causes Moore's aversion to playing smashmouth in that area of the field where you really need to be playing smashmouth.. but it's got to stop. Sure we will get stuffed and not be able to punch it in a few times a year.. But I strongly suspect that our red zone percentages will skyrocket if we just stop being stupid down there..

I listen to the Philly radio stations. All I hear about are the WR and Pitts. Who are you suggesting they want?

Hope Im wrong but think Giants move to 9 if he makes it that far.
I agree. If we telegraph the league we want Pitts you can forget it. Some team lurking in the weeds will trade up for him and dump our intentions. Just watch.

I was very Anti-Pitts until i remembered that it seems the Cowboys struggle scoring TDs in Redzone. Dak can always drive right down the field but struggles when close to the end zone. So i looked up 2019 stats, and within 10 yards, Dak was in 27th place in passing stats right behind Dalton on the Bengals. Could be coaching but its something to think about.
How many times is Elliot put the ball on the ground. Inside the 10 yard line. Ask yourself that question

Rumor has it Miami taking pitts. The closer we get to the draft the more I salivate at the idea of Pitts. I think even if Mia passes on him he will be going to Denver.

Pitts might get at minimum 12 td's for us this year in the red zone as a rookie..and thats worst case scenario. This guy makes you defend every patch of turf on every down. Makes life easier for the oline, Dak and Zeke. Opens up the entire offense even more. It also helps the defense because you then make the opposing offense more predictable. That is to any defenses benefit.
So if dallas gets pitts , would u be open to trading little lamb??
Should pitts get the # 88?

You should have followed through with your research by looking up 2020 stats. Dak really struggles in the Redzone when he has a compound fracture of his ankle. But not to worry, the Cowboys got him a really good backup... Dalton from the Bengals. Maybe that's just a coincidence... maybe not. ;)

exactly the biggest change in our identity came in 2019 with KM taking over and trying to make dak a superstar in pass happy offense and little effort is being used to design better run games and run plays, sometimes i swear KM is calling Fullback run plays from the 90s for zeke..its utterly ridiculous..

more time and effort needs to go into run scheming as the offensive looks' disjointed one arm is trying to be cute and unique in pass plays and the other arm is stuck on vanilla run plays..they need to be ONE and play off each other..
kellen was a passing qb, that is all he knows, and he doesnt understand or value the run game.
So we will see the same thing again this year.
And jerry extended him lol so he will be here a long time. I was hoping he would take the college job.

I would be shocked if Pitts falls to 10. If he does....we have to pull the trigger on him, cut Jarwin and had Schultz be a 2

Cut? No way..you show case him in Pre-Season (if healed) and try to trade him. Pitts would allow for like 4-5 "JAG's" to become expendable. Trade for equal players in defense or for Draft capital and don't look back.

Getting Pitts is like upgrading 3 or 4 of your Honda Civic's to the Bat Mobile....Batman Begins version.

Should have said cut / trade. tbh Jarwin hasnt shown enough but to net maybe a 5-6th round pick.

Reason why we can't score in the redzone....our O-line can't run block....and #21 runs like a puss.
