Believe me. I know who I'm talking to. I'll match my track record to yours anyday. Seems like players I like end up being pro bowlers most of the time.

Did you know dak would be this good as a rookie?

Did you advocate zeke at 4?

And they were players on the board when our pick was up.
Yeah, whatever. You're all talk. All of the players and decisions you wish the Cowboys would make never happens. Actually, I tend to be very much correct in stating what the Cowboys are going to do. Usually happens to those who truly understand the game and business side of it.

Yes. I knew he would eventually would be good. Hes not elite by any stretch.

He’s not far off. I have dak in the top 7 currently.

Only thing keeping dak out of the top 5 is a full year like he played the first 4 games as last year and the team overall having more success.

I cry BS on knowing what Jerry will do. The guy is a loose cannon and will make the boneheaded decision at any time. Look at how he bumbled the dak negotiations.

now predicting he will cave on zeke or won’t cut jaylon smith are easy stuff.

I’ve come around on Pitts. He is too good a talent to pass up. Like a generational talent.

if he is there. Take him.

but I don’t think the cowboys are going to have this choice. I think the Atlanta, the bengals, dolphins, Panthers and Broncos all could take him. I just don’t see how he gets past all those teams without one of them pulling the trigger.

I suspect the Dolphins are the ones who take Pitts. He'd be a heck of a weapon for Tua, and he needed more weapons last year. So the thought of him coming to us is probably moot.

Are you saying surtain, parsons, sewel don’t have great talent? I would say that’s naive. Best part about top 10 is they are all very talented and you can basically pick what you want at any number of positions.

Its about talent, need, positional value.

Pitts checks one of those boxes.

Sewel checks all 3, surtain checks all 3
you took the scenic route.
i never said sewell, parsons or surtain wasn't talented.
but i stand by what i did say...at 10 you take the best player.
talent trumps need.
bottom line...if pitts is on the board you take him and move on with your day.

Pitts doubtful to make it to 10, but if he does Jerry needs to put that motorboat full speed ahead and hand in the draft card for Pitts.

I don't believe Pitts makes it to 10. If he's anywhere near 10, like 8 or 9, the Eagles would probably trade up. They have a lot of draft capital and it would only cost them their 3rd rounder they got from the Colts. And why wouldn't Denver do it? Especially if they're picking a QB.

BPA comes with an asterisk. Now if the talent gap is big, fine. No sense taking a big question mark over a true stud. But as long as the talent levels are all high, you take the positions that your team sorely needs. And you have the luxury of avoiding low value positions such as te, rb, safety, etc......etc.....

But pitts is as close to the exception as you can get. I would not be unhappy if they took him. But then it would require a shuffling of assets to create the value.

And dak won rookie of the year. Pretty much been downhill for Zeke ever since.

do you still think it was a good use of the pick?
Of course it was. I'll take 13 and 3 anytime. The mistake with Zeke was giving him the 2nd contract.

It’s of course in your opinion I guess. One good regular season record doesn’t justify a career or pick.

drafting zeke was a huge mistake and that’s been played out. The fact a RB has a short career is one of those reasons. Then when you look at how Ramsey has turned out it only underlines the mistake.

It doesn't? I hear all of the crybabies cry about 25 year crap when 37.5% of the league has never won the Super Bowl. Is winning worth it?

Are you insinuating that zeke was the big reason we went 13-3?
