We technically got value for the Claiborne trade. By chart value we should have given up a 4thWhat percent of the time has Jerry made a trade and not gotten fleeced?

You would need to offer this years #2 or half of next years draft. 2022 picks arent worth as much as 2021. A 2022 2nd is worth the same right now as a 2021 3rdHe's a generational talent, you can't put a LBer on him, we already have elite WR talents, and an Elite RB with a big strong dual threat QB.
If you add Kyle Pitts to this, it's a nightmare for defenses. I can't think of a defense in the NFL that would be able to stop us. Therefore, you have to at least consider trade up scenarios.
On top of tall of this, this year's draft is deep at our positions of need: OL, S, CB, DT
"But you don't waste a premium pick on a TE and you certainly dont trade up from 10 for a TE."
Ok, lets scrap the "TE" label, and lets just call him what he is, which is a WEAPON. An instant mismatch every time he steps on the field. Atlanta has made it known they're willing to shop the pick. And if someone trades with Atlanta to move up, it will most likely be for a QB.
Cincy could potentially be willing to trade as they REALLY need to focus on their O-Line over anything else.
What does it cost us?
I feel we can offer a combination of our 10th pick and either our 2022 2nd rd pick
OR 2022 3rd and 5th rid pick PLUS next years 4th rd pick
We have a boatload of picks this year, so we can still address our areas of need, and next year roll out with this:
Dak
Zeke
ACooper
Cee Dee Lamb
Michael Gallup
Kyle Pitts
If you hate my idea, please explain to me how you would attempt to stop this lineup from driving it down your throat and scoring every time we have possession of the ball.

Coincidentally, Jim Miller and Pat Kirwan were talking about this very possibility on their radio show today. The scenario they put out is that Jerry wants to trade up for Pitts, according to the report from Chris Mortensen. I think Mortensen said Jerry would have to trade up to get him, not that Jerry would trade up to get him. In any case, Miller and Kirwan felt the Cowboys would have to trade up to 4 to be certain they go him and the question is what would the Cowboys have to give up to move up to 4. They claimed it would take their 1, 2 and 3 or that Atlanta would ask for that much. They suggested it was worth it because Pitts is such a huge difference maker.
I like Pitts but I am not trading away my 1,2 and 3 to get him, not with the defense the Cowboys had last year. According to the chart, 4 is worth 1800 pts. 10 is worth 1300. 44 is worth 460 and 75 is worth 215. Trading away 1975 for 1800 is not a good deal. If Pitts falls to 10 then great. Take him and worry about defense in rounds 2,3 and 4. I suppose we could offer players for picks, but who on the Cowboys roster would Atlanta want who is worth a 2nd round pick?
Yep...moving up to 8th would cost us the 10th overall plus, most likely, either our 2nd 3rd rounder (pick 99) or both of our 4th rounders--picks 115 and 138.
But Carolina is at 8 and I doubt they'd trade the pick anyway if Pitts has fallen that far.
If we move up further, it starts getting really pricey...and silly.
Like I said...doubt Carolina would do it.Pitts for 10 plus two 4th rounders is a no-brainer. He is likely the best player in this draft.
If Pitts is there, I don’t think there’s any way Carolina would trade the pick, except for a kings ransom... which two fourths are not.Like I said...doubt Carolina would do it.
