I think if Falcons take QB, Pitts could be acquired

Chase is special, Waddle has Hill type of speed, Smith is the one I could see dropping, but he just had an incredible season.
I just get the feeling that the Alabama receivers will drop. I think Surtain goes before both of them. Waddle has injury concerns and is small. Smith is a product of college video game offenses. I hope all three receivers go in the top 8 though so we can have our pick of Surtain and Sewell.

I will give you this, Chase is better then Waddle and Smith. I think both players are vastly overrated. Waddle is injury prone and never played many plays at Alabama because he was always behind the other bama receivers. He had the spotlight this year and was injured. He looked really gimpy in the National Championship game and did not finish the game. I hope the Eagles draft him.:):lmao2:

Smith did not do anything on his pro day. Major red flag for me. He is the product of the video game college offenses.
Maybe on Waddle, although he shouldn’t even been playing in the championship game. Saban just let him get in there and play a few snaps because the doctors said it wouldn’t hurt Waddle’s ankle and out of respect for Waddle who wanted to play in that NC game.

Smith, I disagree on. I think he’s a really good player who hurt his finger pretty good in his last game and stood nothing to gain at his pro day. Now, he isn’t as good as Chase or anything but I do think he’s really good.

That’s just my opinion though, which is worth about the same as anyone else’s.

i could be wrong but i think atlanta takes pitts at 4.
but its a no brainer if he's in striking distance of us.
you take him and dont look back.

Thats what im thinking as well. Give Ryan another incredible weapon for one more run.

All the more reason why they would be in the driver's seat. You would have two QBs still on the board with Lance and Field, as well as Pitts.
Yeah, they’ll have their choice of the two most athletic QB’s in the Draft, an elite TE prospect, an elite WR prospect, and elite OT prospect, or one of probably two or three trade proposals.

No doubt they’re in a good spot.

Man, this is just a horrible idea

If Pitts drops to 10 so be it but trading up for him is total crap in my book

Think one is there at 10, but not the both of them.

I agree, If you are already a SB caliber team then I could get on board. To move up, you are forcing your draft the rest of the way. Always watching the players you targeted go a few picks ahead of you because you traded a pick. It changes your whole draft strategy but you are playing catchup the whole time.

We are sitting at a prime spot at number 10, hope they don't get cute.

Atlanta restructured Ryan basically guaranteeing he’s there for the next 2 years I believe. I would still draft Field if you think he’s a franchise QB.

I would not take Fields if I were Atlanta. What's gonna happen if you draft Fields? You are screwing Ryan, the coaching staff and yourself because the first time something doesn't go the teams way, the blame will be on Ryan and the calls for Fields will be coming in. Fields is from Georgia. He is the home town kid, so to speak. Fields, IMO, isn't ready to start in the NFL. He needs to sit and learn how to read defenses. I'm telling everybody here, that kid sucks at it. He can make maybe two reads and then he's breaking pocket. He needs to learn how to go through progressions much, much better. But that's here nor there. You draft him in Atlanta and you asking for problems for the next two years or what have you IMO. I'd take one of the other QBs, maybe Lance, and sit him and develop him.
