News: ESPN: Cowboys 'impressed' with Dak's rehab progress

What about in 2019 when our defense held three of our opponents to grand totals of 12, 13, and 17 points and we lost all three of those game? Dak threw a total of ZERO TDs combined in those games.

Daks poor play was the reason we went 8-8 instead of 11-5 in 2019. It wasn't the defenses fault.
Incorrect. The team quit on Garrett and is even more evident when they lead the league in drops. That's catchable passes that they dropped, but yea lets blame it all on Dak.

Sunshine and rainbows..

They’ll have us in the Super Bowl again by early August.

Peyton Manning drafted at the top of round 1 and Dak was drafted as a comp round 4 pick.

Plus your idiotic comment that Dak walked into an ideal situation and has gotten worst is just that...... idiotic and false.

Dak went into training camp and was the 4th QB and ended up starting week 1 and took Romo job that put him into retirement

First off besmirching someone with name calling just shows how weak your ability to debate is and secondly Dak did not 'take' Romo's job as Romo had broken his back in 2014, his clavicle twice in 2015, and again broke his back in 2016 so Dallas saw that he was done due to injuries.

You are way too in your feels about Dak. You refuse to even see the issue in the 2nd highest paid QB ever throwing ZERO TDS COMBINED in games we lost because we couldn't muster more then 12, 13, or 17 points.

Instead, it's everybody but the QBs fault. Yikes. But hey, if I've learned anything the past 10 years it's that Cowboys fans love defending a mediocre QB.

The legend of the 5 year, 1-2 playoff record Qb that hasn’t won squat, can only grow with this fan base.....the rest of the NFL knows better

Never before has so much asss kissing been bestowed on someone who has accomplished so little.
Peyton Manning lost his first 4 playoff games....Indy was stupid not to cut him after the 3rd one...the idiots!

....and Manning was drafted into a terrible team whereas Dak walked into an ideal situation and has gotten worse.
6 years of a bad team? he didn't win a playoff until his 6 years....wow....you are digging deep into your desperation bag today.

Last time I checked no 300+ pound defensive linemen were chasing Dak in the off-season.
ahhh, the new spin...first its hanging by skin...gimpy dak, etc. now its (deep voice), "Oh, no 300lb lineman is chasing him in off season"....next after this gets dissplled....oh, the 400lb lineman is going to get him...oh, the grizzly bears can attack him and get him, oh, he can't run as fast a race horse...

my Gawd son, aren't you tired of just being wrong all the time...

Do you not remember Romo?

This fanbase has switched from demanding greatness to being happy with the lovable losers. If you remember, when Dak was 13-3 the fanbase wanted Romo back. The fan base didn't truly accept Dak until he put up a whole lot of empty stats in 2019 and went the old familiar 8-8. It reminded them a lot of their first lovable loser hero. That is when the fanbase said "Jerry needs to bank up the brinks truck for this man".

The once proud Dallas Cowboys fanbase has fallen far that they not only happily accept mediocrity, but they praise it also.
you are in a lot of deep pain....wow....what's going on in your head...this post was deeply painful....

everything ok?

OMG, not this tired argument. didn't I already prove you wrong 3 times with facts, that other QBs have lost games scoring a bunch and lost games when defense held.....in fact it was pretty common. I cited for you Brady, Mahomes, Rodgers, etc....

but I am realizing your perception is much stronger than reality...not sure what's going on in your head....

OMG, again with this zero TDs...... I proved that wrong too. twice...citing plenty of games won/lost by Rodgers, mahomes, Brady, Brees throwing no TDs and games lost throwing 3,4 TDs.

sorry, but I have to ask...I am not being insulting or trying to be...are you off your meds today?

So, what about Tony Romo then?

You naming proven winners to compare to Dak is embarrassing and weak.

Again, naming Super Bowl winners and MVPs to compare to Dak is still and always will be embarrassing and weak.

This just in, the brain trust has read this thread and decided they're not impressed after all.

Jeez, can any thread be about him and not a die hard debate about his level of good or bad.

They were praising his work in getting ready just like Alex Smith got well deserved praise for his work in getting prepared. He was not impressive when he played but his courage and mindset, yes, that was admirable and impressive.

I would imagine there have been a few times Prescott has had flashbacks going through his mind when he looked down and saw the bend of his foot and blood. I don;t care how tough a football player is, there are tricks your mind plays on you and that takes a strong will to overcome.

Can we just compliment the team's leader for doing the work to get back to lead his team as he was doing before he got injured. It's not about how much he's getting paid or his stats, it's overcoming what could have been a career ender for a fighter.

OMG. this just went right above your head. probably by a mile...I have to say you seem to be struggling today. more so than usual

the point is ALL QBs have those....including the good ones.. get it?

now a very very very simple question. I just need a number, because its that easy. How many Superbowl would Brady win in Dallas with Garrett?
and another very very very simple yes/no question
Would Brady win a superbowl in Dallas in 2020?
