Parsons looks like a boom or bust pick to me

If you seen anything I’ve been posting including this post you’d understand that the problem with this defense is stopping the run. I would’ve been more happy trading back to 20 getting that first next year and woulda taken Barmore with no problem. We need a dt who can stop the run keep a lber clean and rush the passer and Barmore is that guy.

He’s a great blitzer but we need a guy who can collapse the pocket.

I just feel like he doesn't fill the hole and we already have that with Jaylon. He's a read and run LB same as Jaylon. I didn't want a corner and am glad we didn't take one but I would love to see us focus on the defensive line in round 2 and maybe a guy like Adebo in the 3rd or a trade up.

I want to see DL addressed too, but you can’t force a pick there if the grade isn’t there. Otherwise you end up with Taco.

Parsons is much much better at engaging blockers, getting through them, and going around them. Much better than Jaylon

No. There’s just parts of his game that scare me a little more than most but he also has some amazing tape too. I guess I’m just worried a little about him playing in this defense where we still have a terrible middle of our d line
