Watch some film of Jaylon taking on blocks.

then watch film of Parsons.

Parsons is much much better at engaging blockers, getting through them, and going around them. Much better than Jaylon

the Jaylon comparisons are lazy and
Misguided

also Parsons is a much better pass rusher than Jaylon. Much better.
And he doesn’t have drop foot.

Complete opposite of jaylon. Finesse vs beast.
Nope. Totally disagree. Here is why:

Go to the 7:03 minute mark...

Micah Parsons is definitely another Jaylon Smith. I don't care what your heart and feelings feel...or what you type on social media. The film doesn't lie. Parsons gets tricked during misdirection plays.

A better inside LB would have been someone who has fluid hips, makes excellent cuts and misdirects without losing speed and quickness. Someone with similar size (6'3", 245) but who is quicker and able to cut and run without losing speed, time and balance. Someone like Baron Browning would have been much better:

Oh well...as I expected. Jerry Jones and his group of assistants are not that good at wheeling-n-dealing or making the smarter/better picks when it comes to the draft. It's the main reason why this team has failed to reach a conference championship game in 26 seasons and counting.

Jerry Jones is no Jimmy Johnson when it comes to picking elite and needed talent or making better trades.

Enjoy.

Only thing giving me hope is he an extremely raw linebacker and he’s fast.

Bad pick though.

Parsons is a much more physical player on film than Jaylon. He’s also never suffered a devastating knee injury like Jaylon.

All that being said, even Jaylon has gone through periods of great play in his career.

Parsons is Jaylon Smith #2.

Identical clone.

Great straight line speed. Suck at cutting and misdirection. Can get tricked with misdirection plays.

I'll support Parsons, but I hate this pick. Should have traded down a 2nd time and try to get a late 2nd round pick.

not sure you and I are watching the same film...

You should study the proper film, not only the biased hype highlight ones...

Go to the 7:00 minute mark:

That right there folks is Jaylon #2.

He’s definitely not. But you can cry all you want about it. I’m happy as a clam. Enjoy!!

I’m just worried about passing downs and how NFL linebackers need to be great in coverage now days.

I don’t really care how well he defends the run or blitzes and unfortunately that’s what he’s good at.

Just like you were all happy with LVE several drafts ago, eh?

Trust me, you can't touch me when it comes to choosing the better picks in the draft.

LVE wasn’t me buddy, nice try though. Well I just nailed the parsons pick and your the one sitting here crying. Proof is in the pudding.

Our run defense was worse than our pass defense last year, and while it is a passing league it’s a failure of run defense that usually does you in in January and February.

Do you have any idea how ridiculous your statement sounds?

You think like Jerry and his Administration:

End result: SUCK.

That's you = SUCKY DECISIONS

Nice. I wouldn't be bragging if I were you.

They aren’t lazy at all.

They share the same strengths and that’s a fact.

Parsons has the upside because he has 2 functioning legs and he’s fast but on the football field they can both go sideways and downhill.

Nope. Just disappointed once again. This front office simply doesn't have it. They can't get it because they simply don't have it.

Enjoy more suckiness.
Turning in your fan card are we? Throwing a tantrum? Been telling guys like you all about parsons for months. Cowboys agreed and nailed the pick.

I’m going to enjoy watching Parsons make you look silly. Plenty of time to revisit this one.

Nope, opposite strengths completely. As usual you have no clue about football.

jaylon doesn’t even have any strengths left.
