Fits our team? We need starters, playmakers. We got zero after the 2nd round.

osi fits, but not barmore? They are literally mirror images and position. Barmore is just better.
Osa and Barmore aren't mirrors of each other not even close.

Have you watched both of them on film? Not going by what someone else said or rankings but actually putting in time to watch them play

Yes but he would be the starter and solution. Osi is just in the mix.
I know you love Barmore but he’s also a pretty one dimensional player at this point. IMO getting a starting CB in round 2 was priority. And Joseph was the best one available. Anthony Brown was not going to be this team’s starting CB.

Lol.....ok, but osi does?

Yes. For the third time, he is basically a quicker and stronger version of Tyron Crawford. He can play DE or DT depending on where you need him.

osa fits our team because he’s rotation fodder. Barmore is a legit starting 3 tech so he doesn’t belong here.

..good enough for me. I'm no draft guru, but you have to give the benefit of the doubt. We could be the surprise team of 21'.

tell that to Belliceck. He traded up for him.

joseph has to be a great starter.

Again.... I dont want rotation fodder like Crawford. I want legit starting 3 techs like barmore.

Now if we take Joseph in 2 and McNeil in the 3rd, that’s a home run.

Barmore a legit starting 3 tech Haha he wasn't even a starter in college. You didn't answer my question about watching film cause you haven't

Barmore would be reduced to bench duty or rotational. He'd be backing up Gallimore, who I don't think is going to give way any time soon. Meanwhile, Osa can rotate to DE or DT as needed. At least he's more useful at this time. At least how I see it.

I'll sum up their draft in a simple sentence.

They didn't draft anybody they intended to.

Period.

But that doesn't mean these dudes will bust.

Ok, I get it now......your a homer. No biggie. Enjoy.

I prefer to think of myself as a pawsitive fan. I try to stay pawsitive when I can. I will call this team out when needed, and I have done so and will again when the team warrants it in my view. However, in my view, I don't think it's warranted with most of the draft picks. It's obvious I won't change your mind, and that's fine by me.

spot on...as usual my friend.

micah parsons, kelvin joseph, jabril cox and DLx3 make this draft for me.
i like the 2 6'4 corners...if we hit on just 1 its icing on a very satisfying cake.
im not gonna pretend i know anything about those 2 ol...i dont.
usually...ol either make your 53 or the ps...so im sure we'll have plenty of time to get to know them.
the heavens opened and gave us a gift from the sumit of mt. nittny.
he's gonna be a ***-kickn' good'n...for a long,long time.

Yep, looked at all of them. Bellicheck traded up in the 2nd round to get barmore. You think that was for backup duty? Lol

you homer guys crack me up. Everyone we didn’t take isn’t good and whomever we take is great.

on the other hand, I have likes and dislikes.

Now that the dust has settled, and the draft is all over, it is time to go through the players we drafted and provide analysis as to what picks made sense, what picks were nonsense/redundant at this time (but can always surprise), and what picks were quietly smart.

1 (12). Micah Parsons LB Penn State (via trade down with the Eagles)
Arguably the best D player in the draft! Great in run stopping and pass rush. No slouch at pass coverage, but he's more of a rusher LB. And we got a free 3rd rounder. No complaints here from me. Great choice.

2 (44). Kelvin Joseph CB Kentucky
Solid choice! A player I wanted. Not a lot of experience, but he's a freakish athlete. At 20, he's capable of developing into a monster. Apparent character issues, but, as long as he behaves off the field, we'll have a phenomenal pick here.

3 (75). Osa Odighizuwa DT UCLA
Freakish athlete at DT. Former wrestler, so he knows how to tackle well. Excellent at pass rushing from the 3T spot.

3 (84 from PHL). Chauncey Golston DE Iowa
Sneaky good pick. I know some people don't like this pick, but I love it! Great choice here. ALso no slouch to run stopping. Here's a video of him:

3 (99). Nahshon Wright DB Oregon State
THis is the one potential headscratcher pick in my view. I like the player, but 3rd round is a bit of a reach for him. However, with it being this close to a 4th round, it might be a bit of a wash. With that said, I like his size and athleticism. He's got solid hands.

Look what he does to the Oregon QB. Great read, great interception! Good speed for his size too. His interception against Washington is a good example of this. I love the way he attacks the ball. A bit like Richard Sherman.

4 (115). Jabril Cox LB LSU
Apparent injury issue to his shoulder, but he's a solid cover LB when healthy. Great value with where we got him. We drafted two wonderful prospects.

4 (138). Josh Ball OT Marshall
Character issues dropped him here. I shall not go into those issues. With that said, he's a massive olineman with great range. Reminds me a bit of Doug Free when I watch him.

5 (179). Simi Fehoko WR Stanford
Smart pick and quietly good value. Tall WR with great speed for his size. Excellent in special teams. I really like this pick.

6 (192). Quinton Bohanna DT Kentucky
At last!! A true 1T DT! Pity it took us this long to find one! Absolute monster in stopping the run and swallowing blocks. Don't expect many sacks from this player. That is not his forte. He can collapse the pocket in pass rush, but the most likely situation in which he sacks the QB is when the QB tries to step up in the pocket. With that said, you're not running the ball on him, and the QB is not going to want to step up with him. Nice move here!

6 (227). Israel Mukuamu DB South Carolina
Fell surprisingly to this spot. Some would say that Wright should've gone here and Mukuamu should've been the 99 pick. Turns out to be a wash. Excellent selection. Sounds like he's going to play S which he's more than capable of. Excellent pick!

7 (238). Matt Farniok G Nebraska
Well, he's a 7th round pick. There's that. But, he is coming from Nebraska where they do have solid LBers. I like the player.

Overall, great draft! Wright was a bit of a headscratcher, but it was a wash with Mukuamu at 227. Plus, Wright is a solid CB. I like what I saw with him. The only other questionable pick was Ball, but he is a solid blocker. With how similar he is to Doug Free, I can certainly understand the pick. I'd give this draft an A- or B+ at this time from what I see.

the way the draft fall did the cowboys no favors like last year. It appears to me they had their guys targeted damn the torpedoes! I give it a B they got 2 starters at least
