The era of most invested o line in the league with only 2 years the o line performed like a top 5 o line. 2014 and 2016
When you bring it up then it's part of the conversation. You are the guy complaining about the Oline and then lobbying for Pitts.
Im the one complaining about defense and advocating, nailing the Cowboys taking Parsons.
Understand the difference?
When you bring it up then it's part of the conversation.
You brought up Pitts,not me.
Hardline=Oline sucks, take Pitts
CRoy=Defense sucks, take Parsons (nailed the pick)
That "putrid performance of late" that you complain about was by backups. But that comment most certainly sounded to me like you were saying the OL sucks. Please inform us how putrid performance has any other meaning. You think this logic works for you?
I am happy with the Parsons pick. He was picked exactly where I said he would.
We got your guy and you still complain .
I didn't say the OL sucks either. You are making stuff up.

Tag me to every post that I compared Parsons to Taco. Ill wait.LOL.......so you predicted he would go to the Cowboys? Yah right. Dont forget we argued forever over this, me wanting Parsons and actually predicting we would take him.
Happy with Parsons? You compared him to picks like Taco.
And FYI................the Oline has been a problem for 3 years now and fading.

You not lying. I don't fault the Cowboys for doing what they did but its tricked fans into thinking that's he standard. Only way to build the offensive line is through 1st round picks. Hell no. Draft at least one linemen a year and that position should be a rotating door. Always got someone waiting in the wings. You shouldn't have more than 2 Max player offensive linemen and if you do one of them better be your left tackle. The era of most invested o line in the league with only 2 years the o line performed like a top 5 o line. 2014 and 2016
Man its really tiresome...we all root for the same team....we all will have different opinions on it but we all can't agree on how to disagree with each other. Keep it civil. That's lost on some for some reason.I think way to many posters are to interested in getting into arguments. Which leads to nonsense being posted. With no actual football discussions being had!
Negativity reigns.Ah, memory lane.
It’s an oft-traveled road by all human beings in this life — a prodigiously deep highway with hundreds — better yet thousands of diverse memories. Some are wildly pleasant to reminisce upon, while others incite feelings of curt destitution. All though, represent imaginative pictures and stories that remind us of our once-present toils as we glimpse through a figurative looking glass to the past.
And if you’re a Cowboys fan (at least one that was born before the 1990’s), you likely have dozens of memories of the team’s great exploits tucked away in your brain’s happy place. These thoughts are safely guarded with all of your willpower so as not to allow disturbance — especially ones that can be caused by the team’s putrid performance as of late.

You started this thread with those comments in your original post.Tag me to the post post where I said that. Go ahead.
I would get more excited if this FO knew what kind of team they want to build. It seems like they just draft “good players” without much blueprint for what they are trying to make.
I wouldn't call it an "era"....hardly. Call it a period of wasted opportunity
Tyron Smith, Travis Frederick, Zack Martin, and La' el Collins played together for four seasons.
Tyron Smith, Travis Frederick, and Zack Martin played together for five seasons.
During the 7 seasons in which Tyron, Fredericks, and Martin were on the team, there was 17 total Pro Bowl recognitions. There was a 4 year period in which Flozell Adams, Andre Gurode, and Marc Columbo combined for 10 Pro Bowls, proportionally equal.
During his first five seasons, Tyron Smith missed one game. In the past 5 seasons he has missed 26 games. Of course, the Cowboys have to get their typical share of bad luck. They lost the best center in the game to a rare disease. La' el Collins finally gets paid and he takes a year off to still unexplained circumstance. They are hiding something.
The fact that the Cowboys had put together a fantastic line should be considered a tragedy when you consider the team's lack of playoff success and the sad way in which the line is unraveling. It culminated in 2021 with both tackles being replaced by tackles that had to be replaced. Before the season, we learned about losing our All Pro center, Fredericks. Again, La 'el was a no-show for 2021. Joe Loony started only 12 games, Even Zack Martin was out after 10 games. The only original offensive starter to play all 16 games in 2021 was Connor Williams.
Still, it doesn't have to end, there is a possibility this line can be reinvigorated by a center, Biadacz, who exceeds expectations. The rest would be up to the veterans to stay healthy and recommit to being the best they can be. The best medicine would be winning through a prolific offense that played up to their potential.
