All we heard before the draft was how safety was sooo important in Quinns defense. Safety was more important than corners.

Of course I laughed then and Im still laughing. But ironically, you dont hear from any of those posters anymore about safety.

You need to look at the players. They are certainly solid and a good fit for the defense.

No, it doesn't mean backup. The 2 third round defensive linemen should get a lot of playing time. How much time have you spent looking at their play this season? Do you know anything about them?

So you are saying we got 3 starters with our 3rd round picks? What is solid supposed to mean?

Backup, rotation, starter? Do you know anything about them? All 3 guys picked were projected to go at least a round later if not more. Even in film breakdown Osi doesnt do much other than hold his ground. Wright is just a pathetic pick. None of these guys stand out on film.

they didnt trade up atleast two or three spots for the cheap (likely a 4th) to get a difference maker Safety in Moehrig

Instead they take a corner who more likes to be a rapper than a football player with two other 2nd Round Corners and multiple good Tackles still on the board

Took two guys in the third that they could have gotten later (Gholston) or even way later or even in Free Agency (Wright)

Drafted an undersized underweight DT in the third (Osa) // I get Tyrone Crawford flashbacks watching him

Drafted a 1 Tech who cant move and generates zero pressure in the 6th

Ball was never a 2nd Round Tackle.


At the end of the day we have to see what they do on the field. We cant say its great or its ***** before we havent seen them play a full season or two.

A lot of people thought last years class was great and it looks very underwhelming so far.

A Dallas fans that isn't sucked into the blind loyalty. Nice to be optimistic, but until this franchise can produce ON THE FIELD and not in Forbes Magazine, honest Cowboys fans, have stopped biting the poison apple. Bravo to you

Rather have Slater, Joseph and Cox
The DL picks were fine.
Hated the two 6-4 CB projects. We also got the two boundary CBs in Joseph and Diggs. Slot CB in Lewis, Brown.
Need starting FS instead of 7th round project
Rather have a 3rd round OT.

Right now we have a crowded LB field, can’t cut or trade.
No decent plan for our often injured and aging OL.
STILL no long term solution at FS

Disappointed to say the least.

Also illustrates that they are inflexible. We have glaring need for long term starters at both CB AND S. Yet they are dead set on picking a CB and not worry about S because they think they got Kazee(sp) who’s coming off major injury for 1 yr.

This is the same thought process when they were dead set on selecting Hill in the 2nd when we have multiple S rated much higher to fill a need.

It’s no wonder this franchise has lacked post season success for past 20 years.

You put way to much value on the draft media rankings.

There is nothing wrong with Wright from a game footage perspective and he played for a college that has produced a number of NFL players.

His only issue is that he needs to gain weight.

CB was huge hole in the defense. They didn't get one in the 1st round and then tried to trade up in the second to get Tyson Campbell. With them apparently not liking Melifonwu who was still available in the end of the third, it makes sense they wanted Kelvin Joseph at 44. There really wasn't any other CBs with starting ability that fit their size, speed, length requirements. Unless you are a believer in Wright.

Had they not drafted Joseph did anyone really want to go into a game with Diggs & Brown on the outside with Lewis in the slot? Because that was what we were looking at.

If this translates into a defense that can get stops and can get turnovers, giving this team a chance to win, I'm good.
