I don't come here for the Cowboys or football, I come here for you and you and you and you and you and especially you! But not you, oh no, never you, I come here in spite of you.

This is my social media and I live alone and don't have any friends where I live so I come here to socialize and talk Cowboys, NFL, college, bacon, menus, movies, music, funny cats, funny people and wonder what the hell most of you look like. And sure enough the day I do not come here will be the day Amber Heard catches up with Reverend Conehead and just wails on him. I can't say he doesn't deserve it.

There are two parts to this site, the football side and the other side. The other side is the OTZ and MZ where we get to know each other a little better, which might explain the animosity on the football side of it. Seriously, if you haven't taken a cyber stroll through the OTZ, you should check it out. There's something there for everyone. Except you, yeah you, talkin' bout you again.

Hate to get all weepy on y'all but puts the world right for me coming here and seeing familiar monikers and avatars. You are all my precious.

Depends on my mood. If I'm in a good mood, I'm on here about 10 times per day. If I'm in a bad mood, I'm on here about 10 times per day. If I'm in a sad mood, I'm on here about 10 times per day. If I'm in a tired mood, I'm on here about 10 times per day. If I'm in an excited mood, I'm on here about 10 times per day. If I'm in a romantic mood, I'm on here about 10 times per day. If I'm in an agry mood, I'm on here about 10 times per day. If I'm in a calm mood, I'm on here about 10 times per day. If I'm in a fantastic mood, I'm on here about 10 times per day.

I find myself coming here less and less as the days go buy. I have been a member here since pretty much the inception of this board, in it's different forms. I used to look forward to opening up my browser and spend hours per day on here. The days when Dale and Hos pretty much ran the board. I retired 3 years ago, and thought I would be on here all day. But the negativity on the this board has just taken the joy out of coming here. The same posters, day after day posting the same negative things about, mostly Dak, and the team. I too complain at times, especially on game day, but I don't repeat the same negative theme post after post. We know how you feel, quit posting the same BS post after post. There is a group of about 10-15 posters who post the same thing everyday. These are some miserable people who want us all to be miserable with them.

More and more, the old timers, the ones who were here when I first came on here are gone, and with good reason. I wish these miserable, negative posters would move on and create their own board where they can post their miserable thread, hating everything Cowboys. When I do come in to check I usually don't stay long, I usually head on over the other board where you can have a discussion with other members with out someone coming in and hijacking the thread with Dak sucks, Jerry sucks, the Cowboys suck, etc, etc. Most of the members were here at one time, the old timers who refuse to be miserable with all these miserable posters.

Perhaps I will be banned for posting truths on this board, but it needs to be said. Good night!

I used to be here all day. But since I'm hardly at my laptop nowadays, I'm only here when I finish some work and hang out to see what's going on. Doing mostly twitter and podcasts these days to get my Cowboy's fix.

So, I am guessing when you first started coming here was some time back, maybe before this 25 years of futility or shortly thereafter?

I agree, there is a lot of frustration leading to negativity here and with that pretty much everywhere, escaping to a team site with a bunch of fans seems like a good idea only that follows us here.

The Dak stuff doesn't bother me because I was trained with the Romo stuff. I just assume we're always going to have a polarizing QB, like we have at RB and DE and LB and we even burn our HOF QB turned announcer and future HOF TE. Always gonna be someone unhappy about something.

I don't know if other sports sites are like this because this is the only one I come to just as a did DC.com before this one and saw the same responses to the negativity. I think the Cowboys fandom is the most entitled one and that does play into it.

You can avoid the negativity and even feed it by not participating but this is as much your forum as it is theirs. I participate in the Booger negativity because I see that as the real problem with this team but do not think that's going to change. But it makes me feel a little better to take my shots. It's like seeing his face after a loss, that is ointment for a loss.

However, there is also positivity here, maybe not as much as you'd like but it is here because those members refuse to give their forum up to the negative sellers. There's good people here that get frustrated and need to blow off a little steam and there are some that come here to get lifted.

I, for one, would like for you and some of the old guard to be back here, you're the historians of this forum. You helped form it and would be a good one to stand up for it. Your absence just allows them more power to set the tone.

However, this is a team that is 14-18 over the last two seasons and a .500 team over the last 25 years. It ain't gonna be sunshine, lollipops and rainbows with the most entitled fandom on the planet. We are Dallas Cowboys fans, by God, and we deserve to win!

I understand that Jerry and his family are a problem and have stated so many times in my posts. I just don't see the need repeat it in every posts, whether the post is about Jerry or not. And I also understand that the team is 14-18 in the last 2 years. But there is many factors in that record, the miserable's here refuse to see that and blame the whole thing on Dak and Jerry. They have to inject that in every posts. We all know how each and every one of them feel, yet they keep posting the same damn thing, even hijacking posts with their misery. I wish the moderators would create a misery zone, and move all these miserable post there. That way the miserable posters can go there and be miserable together and leave the rest of us to have meaningful exchanges without them hijacking the posts with their misery.

Trying to segregate the Debbie Downers doesn't work. I keep trying to get the mods to install a Cage Match thread, wherein anytime two posters go at it to the point of disrupting an entire thread, other participants in the thread can say, "TO THE CAGE", at which point those two posters are magically transported to the Cage Match thread to fight it out until someone dies or they call a truce......but the mods won't do it

On the old DC.com, they put in a Silver Linings area for nothing but positive posts, because this overly negative vibe isn't new, and it was empty and stayed empty.

Not going to change some that really get into the "cybercuffs" and I wouldn't mind a cage fight when they get that far into it. That would be preferable to taking over a thread posters are having a discussion in. I agree, the "Oh Yeah?" "Oh Yeah" can get old fast. We could have the PeeWee Herman "Haha, I know what I am but what are you" Zone.

First time I drop a fudgie is when I check the site. If a conversation interests me I'll come back to it post fudgie. Usually late at night. If you don't hear from me on this site it means I'm constipated and any prayers would be appreciated.

Now that I know that I am going to say that Garrett was the best coach Cowboys ever had and 10 years was not enough time to assess him, lol.

Well, that certainly sounds cryptic.

'Goodbye cruel world for I leave you now for a better place......Toledo, Ohio" Lemme tell ya, you spend a night there and the cruel world looks like a party. Claim to fame, the National Meat Cutters Training Center. I think going to Toledo is what sent Leatherface over the edge.

Know what people hate? Scales, they're the bane of mankind, especially the portly. Know where they're made? Yep, Toledo, even name scales after that wretched blight of a city. The only thing that would make Toledo worse is if "Mama Mia" took place there.
