I am more about the timeliness, and quality of the runs. Big numbers, that don't lead to wins; is considered empty stats by some.
Hey, you stole my answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Not how many but what type? The team needs the hard yards from him.
You're twisting things around. I said ZEKE needs to average around 80 yards a game. You forgot we have other RB contributors like Pollard.
Of course, that production would not equate to getting paid ridiculously so high, but blame Jerry for being the fool who gave Zeke such a ridiculous top overall RB paid contract.
Not necessarily KM's fault that Zeke hasn't gotten the ball in, but his play calls have something to do with it. Seems like nothing but dives up the middle behind our worst run blocker (C williams). I think KM lacks imagination in the run game and opposing defenses know that, which makes it more difficult to run.
I don’t know why they don’t like hitting the middle of the field more
If you’ve been reading the posts. He can’t get in because he’s gased from the first 80 yards
Do you need to be an expert to see that Zeke is failing miserably to earn his 15 million per year?
For the morons, they have stats. 3.9 yards per carry, under 1000 yards rushing, ect....ect..
So what is your excuse?
Duhh..................................Moore doesnt throw enough button hooks to the FB.
Show us the evidence.I dont agree that they dont hit the middle of the field.
Defenses have little fear of those quick hitters to the middle of the endzone. It's either handoff to Zeke, screen to Zeke, occasionally a throw to the corner, some crazy gimmick play to a WR, or a QB keeper.
Any idiot can see this glaring deficiency in the goal line offense. Well, almost any idiot.
Show us the evidence.
LOLBurden of evidence is on you. You are the one that made the outlandish claim. To imply that Moore doesnt have or doesnt call plays over the middle is absolutely laughable.
But since you asked......................here ya go. LOL
This one was easy. Notice all the GREEN DOTS over the middle there genius.
Quit your arguing, dude. Everybody here knows Zeke is being overpaid. That falls on Jerry. It still would hurt the Offense if Zeke was given more carries simply to average 100 yards/game based solely on his overbloated paycheck. The past 2 seasons' success with the pass AND a higher scoring average have proven that. Quit arguing with facts. And what about your comment that Zeke going for 100 a game would negatively effect the offense? I think my answer was pretty complete and straight forward. And I think you are glossing over the NEED part of the question.
NEED............as in to earn his money.
I think its a lot easier to blame the coach than admit that diving up the middle is about all Zeke can do. Just not quick enough or has the vision to consistently bounce it outside and be successful. Its what makes Zeke in particular AND our running game so predictable and easier to stop.
When the Oline was so great that it was opening up monster holes, Zeke looked great. But when there aren't big holes up the middle he is limited.
It's the chicken or the egg. Does KM try to ram Zeke through center/guard because that's all Zeke can do? Or is that all Zeke does because that is the extend of the run plays that KM calls? And what about your comment that Zeke going for 100 a game would negatively effect the offense? Then we in trouble - thats his biggest weakness imo - bad play calling and no imagination with play design - bad combo.Kellen Moore's play calling in the red zone will be key. Hope he's up to it.
