Dak vs Deshaun Watson

I know it's always hard to project things. It's educated guess work at best...
But if you go 4-12 then you are contributing to the misery...even the incompetent jets and jags stumbled to 2 wins....and the 1996 cowboys with Campo and Carter got to 5 wins....
You and your selective use of win/loss stuff when it applies to the QB is truly fascinating to see.

The only stat thats matters to you... winning %...just fyi..again you dont care about stats only winning ....there is no style points for a lose..Correct?

Dak Prescott .609%

Deshaun Watson .528%
He is Mr. Flip flop...he says he doesn't attribute wins and losses to QB, but then says look at final results...

Too funny. He doesn't believe any standards, and when he doesn't like the standard he makes up his own rules. He said it himself, I don't like the rule so I made my own....

I keep forgetting that you care more about pretty shiny stats then actual results. I have GOT to stop letting that slip my mind when talking with you.
Aha. Your true self is out again...

Called u out and you try to change the narrative..

So be a man. Stand on your word.

Are wins and losses on the QB or not.....

I am sure you will spin and lean on the fence since you have said it both ways in the past and can't hide from it....internet never forgets.

Go ahead spin away

You know, I have refrained from these Dak conversations, however, I have been a fan of the Cowboys since their existence and I cannot ever remember a player get so pampered, praised, treated with kid gloves, bowed down to, put on the highest pedestal as Dak has had, and he has not done anything to warrant this kind of admiration! I just do not get it. Yeah, he is our QB for a long time to come, but all this licking his shoe for what he has done so far is just not normal. Again, I just cannot remember ANY Cowboy player get the same treatment for just being a middle tier player. It's like he is already in the HOF...and for what? Nothing really.

Anyway, whatever he is doing, he sure is doing it good. Seems to have a lot of folks fooled up to this point in time. So, in conclusion, since I posted my thoughts about Dak, and did not bow down to his greatness, I will now go away knowing that I will now be labeled a hater, a troll, don't know anything about football, and all the other comments made to posters that have a different opinion of the greatness of Dak.

But then conversely the Texans didn’t get the first pick in the draft, they had 3 times as many wins as the Jags despite being 31st in pass protection, 31st in rushing, and 30th in yards allowed… all worse than Jax.

How often has a team made the playoffs that is horrible in every aspect of football? The closest I can think of is the 2010 Colts who went 10-6 with Peyton, then 2-14 without. But even then they had competent O-lines, real stars in the passing game and a sometimes-average defense. QB matters a lot to a team’s success, but it’s still a team’s success in that case. Win/loss is kind of a QB stat, yeah, but with a lot of context. Could Tom Brady have made the playoffs with the 2020 Texans? GM failures, a coach who didn’t like his players and vice versa. People blame Deshaun for wanting out when Dak is sticking with Dallas, and that’s a fair chide. But no one is questioning the reasons Deshaun no longer wants to play for that organization, because we all know exactly why.

Deshaun definitely benefited from being behind game after game. But even then, no QB on a 4-win team has ever played close to the way he played last season. There are definitely outliers going on here.

What's even worse is you have some people that literally throw a winner like Aikman under the bus to prop Dak up.

It's really gross.

You're hurting a lot of sensitive people with that post!
Going to be a 15 minute wait at the crying closet due to a long line!
The sensitivity thread is going to be filled with tears for Dak!
And the complaint thread will have posts about people who diss Dak!

Great job!

So you want to see him win some hardware before you give him your ok, nothing wrong with that, as long as thats how you feel about all QB's why would you be labled a troll. The arguments only rise when someone say I Like "so and so" and show why and its the same thing Dak does. If you say I want Mahommes, your not getting a big argument other than good luck getting him from KC.

We generally agree. I think wins and losses are on coaches. Who are responsible for offense, defense, special teams and most importantly game management which separates good coaches from average ones....Brady wouldn't win but perhaps one if Garrett was the head coach....and Garrett would have been piggy backing on Brady. But Garrett had a special talent to make the wrong call during crucial times and pull a defeat out of jaws of victory and not have his teams prepared...

and I agree, QBs have the biggest impact to the offense. No denying that. As a result they get the accolades and the blames. It's an offense driven league....

And the notion that a QB can do it alone is a myth...they need resources and talents and it's then how much they produce given those resources and can they maximize production...unfortunately that also gets tied into wins and losses incorrectly. I would rather have a team that has leads going into 4th, and we run a balance offense, run the ball and win games.

Having a defense helps a lot, it allows the QB and OC to take some chances and not worry they lose a game...if a defense can hold and get the ball back and get off the field. It's critical to any successful season.

Most coaches would take Watson over Dak if the comparison is based on talent on the field .
The best head coach the past 20 years in the league (Belichick) would take Dak over DeShaun any day of the week. He's not the only head coach who has sang Dak's praises.

That says everything, but go ahead and keep believing in fairy tales. A leprechaun says you can find a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Go on, go find your gold. Fool's gold.

Prove it.

Prove it.
I've done your homework for you and proven you wrong various times in recent weeks, yet here you still are spewing hatred and falsehoods.

Like I said before, I'm not going to do your homework for you. A quick Google search will prove to you what I said.

"The best head coach the past 20 years in the league (Belichick) would take Dak over DeShaun any day of the week."

This is your direct quote. Prove it or stop making things up. Nobody likes a fibber.

Now go away. Nobody likes a troll.

Where did he say anything remotely insinuating your claim of "The best head coach the past 20 years in the league (Belichick) would take Dak over DeShaun any day of the week."? Watson wasn't even brought up at all in that.

So, again, stop making things up. Does Belichick know you're out here putting words in his mouth and telling lies on his behalf?
