Dak vs Deshaun Watson

Or how he made this up : "The best head coach the past 20 years in the league (Belichick) would take Dak over DeShaun any day of the week."

are we talking any day this week...he may be on to something.....wasnt it all about context in another thread? I do believe that any day this week or next week Belicheat would take Dak over Watson for sure.

Because Watson won’t be playing any day this week, or next, or July, August, Sept…

he literally says it about everyone. He said Dak was great, but did he say he’s one of the best QBs in the league? He did for Deshaun. Not because he prefers Deshaun, but because he’s notorious for upselling every team’s QB before they play.

And then he praised Derek Carr:

And then Kirk Cousins:

Eli Manning:

Belichick goin on about how much he likes Tua Tagovailoa:

Seriously, he talks about every QB as if they’re going to Canton one day. That’s his week strategy before they play them, only praise and no locker room material.

So you say he praised Dak once? Yeah, and water is wet.
Belichick praised Dak more than once. Even an ex-coach of his said in 2017 how much Belichick truly liked Dak. But you and your troll friend wouldn't know this since it's too much to Google such facts up.

"The best head coach the past 20 years in the league (Belichick) would take Dak over DeShaun any day of the week."

This is your direct quote. Prove it or stop making things up. Nobody likes a fibber.
if you object to this, its kind of like you object to yourself, since you have said you make things up, even your own rules....kind of....

They are on equal footing w/passing statistics. Over his career, Dak has thrown for 17,634 yards w/106 TDs and 40 INTs. Deshaun has 13,477 career yards & has thrown 96 TDs & 35 INTs.

Dak has been the beneficiary of a better offensive line early in his career. He'll continue moving forward while Deshaun's off field shenanigans may ruin his career.

How about rushing TDs? Is that included also?

How is it fair to compare career numbers when one guys has played 16 more games than the other guy is all i'm saying?

Watson has more rushing yards then Dak. Dak of course has 7 more rushing TDs, but again, a whole season of played games more than Watson.

Watson is just better. It's just not close. 16 games have to be added to Daks numbers to make him look better.

We can give Watson the one season advantage. But it still doesn't make him better. The word here is comparable.

If people is comparing Dak to someone like Watson that means he is doing something right.

If you take Watson's seasons and average them out and then give him an imaginary 16 games worth of stats to make using career numbers somewhat fair then Watson's will be ahead of Dak is pretty much everything. It won't be very comparable. Watson's numbers would easily be better.

The only thing making this comparable right now is the fact that Dak has 16 more games worth of stats on Watson.

that is if Watson is able to play...

You start off by saying "They are on equal footing w/passing statistics." You left out that Dak has played 16 more games then Watson. So, the fact that are are on "equal footing" in terms of career numbers when Dak has played a full seasons worth of games more then Watson should put an end to this whole debate.

It's not close. Watson on the field is better. There is not a GM in the NFL, including Jerry, that would chose Dak over Watson (if there was no legal issues) if both were available.

Dak has an additional 4200 yards to show for that as well? We can talk about injuries and missed games but I think most would still bet on Daks durability over Watson. One guy is built like a tank, and one a Ferrari.

Despite your hate for Dak they are very close. I won't bother an argument in either case. The only thing I can say definitively is I trust Daks character more. This entire argument may be null and void after Watson gets suspended.

Tough call but Dak's intangibles give him a slight edge IMO. Honestly, I'd have no problem with Watson as my franchise QB if we didn't have Dak, it's that close.
