his QB play is not that great. he has two 4-12 seasons and a lot of his stats come in the 4th trying to come from behind....yeah he is a good deep ball thrower, but to think because of his rating he is better than manning, marino, favre, and brady....that just tells you a lot about the value of this rating..... I take it with a grain of salt.....

yeah, numbers, stats and facts (of those numbers) say that Tannehill is a better QB than Favre or Marino...do you really believe he is?
Does Watson have two 4-12 seasons or do the Texans? Askin for a friend, ya know, for future reference and all.

Also this...."a lot of his stats come in the 4th trying to come from behind"... coming from the same person that thinks 2020 Dak is a GOAT.

Funny how most on that list won a Super Bowl or more.....how has Dak done in that category?

As well as Rivers and Romo .. These statistical deals across eras could not be more empty. The game continues to evolve to make the passing game easier and easier. It's easier now than it was 10 years ago and it was easier 10 years ago than it was 20 years ago and so on. I believe the greats of yesteryear would absolute crush it numbers-wise in today's game. The league wants scoring.. to attract and appease the fantasy football generation. So the game most of us grew up loving is gone forever. Tough defense, hard nosed ground game.. it's a dinosaur and an anomaly these day. I keep hoping a team could dominate for a few years playing that style so the copycats would take the game back to that style but as soon as a team starts to evens smell like they're going to dominate on the ground the league steps in to disrupt it. Take the 2016 Cowboys. Heading into 2017 that team was about to be a monster dominating on the ground.. then in steps Goodell to F with Zeke and we've never really been quite the same since. It saddens me to say it but we're never getting that back. Not just the Cowboys but nobody is... Even the Ravens, Titans and Browns aren't really legitimately dominant on the ground. They're good.. even very good.. but come playoff time teams have figured out how to snuff out their running game. If you can't do it when it really counts then you really aren't dominant.

1 Aaron Rodgers 104.93
2 Steve Young* 96.81
3 Tom Brady 96.62
4 Peyton Manning 95.71
5 Tony Romo 95.62
6 Philip Rivers 94.53
7 Drew Brees 94.27
8 Kurt Warner 93.71
9 Ben Roethlisberger 92.69
10 Joe Montana* 92.26

Nice to see Romo on there. At 97.3 QB rating Dak would be #2 all time if he continues his current pace.
the list has to go wayyyyyy down before you get to Eli, lol. Lucky ******* in the playoffs gonna make the hall, what a sham

Texans do. but you have also heard me say that when you go 4-12, you are part of the problem....you have to suck really bad to have a 4-12 record. for future references you know...plus read the next sentence COME FROM BEHIND in the 4th quarter...you very conveniently forgot to include that....

I never said, Dak in 2020 was a goat...show me a post that I said that. so stop lying, making things up, fabricating.... which you have a tendency to do.

I must have hurt your ego somewhere along the line really bad...you are just hounding today and trying oh so hard...I should be flattered. but then again, its only you

Triggered?

wow just another SJW huh? I figured as much. SJW's are usually full of bile, stupidity and really pathetic attempts at so called humor.
Meh, you're definitely triggered. One can't criticize Romo because Terra is going to throw a hiss fit.

Breathe...breathe...it's going to be ok. Dak will make sure of that. ;)

A guy can be a great player and his team can still stink around him. As has been stated ad nauseum .. nobody does it all by himself.. Not Brady, not Rodgers, not Dak, not Mahomes .. nobody.. The whole one man team narrative is for soft heads and mediots. If you know football even a little you already know this. I'm already on record many times stating that coming into 2020 I was not sure if Dak was ready to take that next step as a QB that enabled him to elevate his team and cover for some weaknesses in other areas. I saw a lot of signs in 2020 that he was making that turn but let's be honest, until we see it for a whole season the jury is always gonna be out. And even after we see it for one whole season there are going to be those who want to see it for multiple seasons before they accept that he's an elite QB. It is what it is and it aint gonna change.. I'm fine with it. Dak will either ball out this year or he won't. I will not lose any more hair either way :)

A list with names like Pennington, Shaub and Bridewater near top 20 instead some of the greats in NFL history tells us all we need to know about this all time ranking.

Romo did have the line Dak had. Or did you forget?

Remember when Murray ran for 1800 yards? That was the beginning of the Oline dominance.

1 year. And they would have made the NFC Title game if not for the same running back.

That list is wrong anyway.
Romo's career QB rating is 97.1 , for example.

Rodgers is 103.9

I posted that during that awful lions game Romo was not playing well and garret was an idiot for continuing to call passes. So right there that proves you are full of crap.
Interesting. Under what account?

according to those numbers you love so much David Garrard is a better QB than Staubach was.

So his point is dead on and you are full of it.
You have to have enough common sense to realize when to factor it in the era these guys played in.

Are they on that list that I referenced? No.
I understand you only joined a few years ago, but I have to ask if you were this upset with Romo 4-5 years into his career as a starter?

Not baiting, just genuinely curious.

I saw Romo just like I see Dak: a stats compiler that simply fails to elevate the team to the promise land.

top 10

Understood. I get it. You're pretty fair, but were you as upset with him as you are Dak?
Because you seem pretty upset with the guy and if you were equally upset at Tony, well...
That kind of stinks.

Not dogging you. Promise.

I understand people and the mentality of attaching their ego to a team to the point that they better freaking win, but it seems like a lot of the joy of watching football is lost in the mix of it.
No judging. I know I'm not the best.

I think you're a fine poster and look forward to continue reading your posts.

Thank you for the reply.

I share disappointment in the Dallas organization with JJ, coaches, and players alike but seeing as how the QB receives much of the spotlight (as does JJ) then they deserve the frustration and criticism as much as they receive the spotlight.
