Cowboys to be on Hard Knocks

I know people are gonna hate this....but man I love Hard Knocks so much and the best times I've had watching it are when the Cowboys are on there. Its really some of the best TV. But I get those who don't want to see this because they just want it quiet around here......I'm excited though.

wasnt it pretty quiet 2 years ago? or was it last year... cant remember. Did that seem to help us out somehow? Since 1995, how many "Quiet," training camps have we had? Did they result in stellar seasons?

Hard knocks wont have 1 damn thing to do, positive or negative with our season.

They don't have to be "awful" to lose. They can be just not as good as they could be because they are distracted. Hard Knocks will be the reason. You are just trying to explain away the distraction Hard Knocks will cause so you won't feel guilty about watching that crap. Not even on his to do list. He just wants the Cowboys on First take, ESPN, undisputed. Zeke, Dak, war daddy.
He has three rings, HOF, most valuable franchise. He is not incentivized or motivated for a SB. He knows Dak will not get him to a SB but he will keep him at 8 wins.
He won’t go 3-13. That is all that he cares about.

I agree. People are using that as a excuse to dislike anything Cowboy related......if the Cowboys suck it won't be because of Hard Knocks.....

Someone should tell him a lot of people watch the Super Bowl and it would
be great exposure for the Cowboys.

If it was about football, Carolina would've been a great choice of the 5 eligible teams.
Star RB returning from injury. A 1st rouund QB gets a second chance. This time on a real team.
A second year coach getting his team ready to challenge TB for the Division.

But no team in any sport gets ratings like the Dallas Cowboys.

I don't have HBO, I don't intend to watch it. But it's still going to distract the team. Why shouldn't I complain about that? I want them focused on winning, not this distraction. Me watching it or not watching it is a moot point. It's not about me, it's about the team.

This really is a big deal to me. I had a little hope for this season which is more than I can say for 2020. Never believed Nolan was a good DC or that no offseason would make it any better.

But any hope I had is gone now. Maybe a really good team can overcome a circus training camp but this team can't.
