I’m a Notre Dame fan

I am I Notre Dame fan. Yes I like Jaylin. He would be better with better players around him. But wouldn’t everybody. I don’t think he’s as bad as everybody wants him to be
Unless he has to stop or turn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because it's what I do.

However, this P crapp might break the camel's back. I'm still watching the Cowboys, but may quit watching other games. Watching football is for rest and relaxation, it's my time away from everything.

Family loyalty is still what it is, family cheers for the Vikings and the Cowboys. My ability to care about the NFL is 95% Cowboys, 5% fantasy football. Always surprises people when they ask why I don't care about other games much, especially the play-offs once the Cowboys are out.

What's interesting? Most Cowboys fans aren't from the great state of Texas, but instead country/world wide.

North Easterners have a saying....

The cheerleaders plain and simple seeing they are the only ones that show winning moves on the field.

Ok, wow................it all makes sense now.
Excuse me for thinking the man has character. Yeah that doesn’t win ball games. But I also think he’s better than most out there. Cowboy fan seems to think. If we don’t have the best players we suck. I mean someone Hass to be average

I think its pretty clear we are talking about the football player, not the person. Although personally I dont like the person he is either.

I grew up in a Cowboys household in Boise, Idaho. As you're well aware, we don't have any professional teams, so everybody was either a Seattle or Denver fan around here. Meh. So, being my mom lived in Dallas before I was born, she was a fanatic. I didn't pay much attention to football in my childhood years. It wasn't until I hit my teenage years in the 90s that I latched on to football. So, obviously, with my mom being a Cowboys fan, I was always around them on tv and it was be a Cowboys fan or live on the streets. I'm kidding.....kind of! ;) So, anyway, I also became a Boys fan. Oh, and how easy it was back in the 90s with them winning Super Bowls. That's where it all started and here I am still today.

Gee, thanks mom!! haha

Because I'm not a bandwagon fan. I stick by my favorite teams through thick and thin. Cowboys, Spurs, Astros and Longhorns (football) are the only teams I care about and I don't waste my time with any others. Since A&M gave my daughter a scholarship I might have to start rooting for them now. I haven't decided yet. Lol

Sticking by the Cowboys through those late 70's and early 80's heartbreaking failures and then that 1-15 season, then turning it around to become the greatest team of all-time (Yes, I'm a homer) a few years later, that was very very satisfying. Same thing with my Spurs. David Robinson turned the Spurs into a contender after years of failure. I only wish Peter Holt would've been the owner then and not that cheapskate Red McCombs. Peter surrounded Tim Duncan with HOF players and solid role players, while Red McCombs brought in street ballers, old players that actually played in the ABA, malcontents and fired the only good coach we had, Larry Brown, and replaced him with a guy who sucked on towels and replaced him with John "George Jefferson" Lucas, who had no idea how to coach a team. But I stuck by them through 20+ years of failure and now we are considered one of the great franchises in professional sports.

Have faith my fellow Cowboy fans. The time is nigh! :starspin:

I'll be posting this on my facebook a thousand times this year. We've been teased way too long. It's our turn now! :flagwave:

Hard to break being a fan of a team. Real hard. Dallas was my team when I was a little guy and they were great to watch. I don’t think I can quit being a Cowboys fan but they do make me mad.

That said I am dangerously close to giving up on the Yankees. I want to punch Cashman every time I see him.

Giving up on the Yankees? Try being a Pirates fan. :muttley:

I hear you. Here’s the deal though Pirates expectations are low and the Yankees have one of the highest payrolls every year. I just can’t stand Brian Cashman. The guy is amazingly ineffective with a major attitude.

True, the Yankees at least try to win. The Pirates sell PNC Park and trinkets to get fans to attend while investing little into trying to win championships.

As a kid who grew up with the Pirates contending every year it's frustrating, but my expectations are so low now I just appreciate the 50-60 wins and live with it.

Well the system is still quite far from fair but I guess everyone is fine with it.

Actually makes me think that my Jerry frustration isn't quite as helpless as I think it may be at times.

If the NFL had MLB's financial system the Cowboys would be the Yankees.

No one could outspend them, but whether that money would produce more on the field than we're seeing now is in question. You still have to make the right personnel decisions.

An 11th season with the puppet at HC would’ve definitely been the straw that broke the camels back. No doubt.
From some of the in-game decisions that MM made last year, it is really hard to say that he is an improvement. With the exception of smashing that melon, I didn’t see much of an improvement over Garrett.

For me it started from the beginning. How can I not love the star and what it represented. Roger Staubach. Talk about character. Bob Lily. Jason Witten, Sean Lee, so many in between it’s hard to remember them all. People don’t like Jalen Smith. I think he’s one of the reasonsI still like this franchise. Prescott. Yes character. That’s what it means to be America’s team. In my opinion. So even though I don’t believe in the Jones family. I still believe in the star. Go cowboys

A thread like this pops up usually once or twice every season. People often say that Cowboys' fans are bandwagon fans; I don't know why anyone would be a bandwagon fan of a team that hasn't won anything in almost 30 years.

For me, my mother was enamored with Roger Staubach even though none of us had ever stepped foot in Texas. I have polaroid pictures from the 70's of me at 18 months old with Cowboys' apparel. Here's the irony, when Jerry fired Landry in 89, my mom renounced the team but by then I was all in.

I've remained a fan of the Cowboys and Pittsburgh Pirates. Not sure if I'm loyal, a creature of habit, or a glutton for punishment. :muttley:
