4th swing and miss... your comments ^^^^2nd swing and miss. . . . not placing transition tag on him
3rd swing and miss. . . caving and signing him last years
To be fair, multiple GM’s do interviews in the off-season. John Lynch and Dave Gettleman are a few GM’s that come to mind.We would be hard pressed to find another NFL executive having this kind of public “confessional” about his mistakes. And the reason SJ is so willing to do this kind of interview is 99.9% of other NFL execs lose their jobs over the kind of front office blunders this guy has overseen.

Dak did not want to sign early. It was well publicized.

They were hoping for their franchise QB amazon prime delivery, but it never showed up, or someone stole it off the front porch.Did we ever get a reason why he didn’t?
I don't think so. You don't order your franchise QB amazon delivery via the 4th round of the draft. They may have drafted him to develop and mold into the eventual QB1 someday but fate put him on an accelerated course. Dak has graduated and is now prepared to lead this team. They were hoping for their franchise QB amazon prime delivery, but it never showed up, or someone stole it off the front porch.
It was a feeble attempt at humor on my part, but Im on board as I always am this time of year, and we better hope and pray for Daks success at this point there is no turning back,,, we are Dak in and Dak win time.I don't think so.
