$The question is how did jaylon go from a man possessed in 18 to a scrub.
Are you suggesting that his inability to negotiate the sled as a reason why he didn't triple the tackles of his inferior teamates?
Help me understand.
Thank you.
He had 5 tackles for loss. He sucks at reading plays and has terrible instincts often taking poor angles. Again, he didn't rank in the top 50 at his position. The tackles stat is meaningless and has more to do with health in his case.
So you think he does....all that...because of "bad technique ". Does not make any sense.
Now...what does make sense...is he does all that hiding a devastating injury....the cowboys must also hide to save face...like you know Jerry does.
Come on dude.....you bad technique thing is way worse an excuse than horrifying injury.
They just drafted Parsons and Cox, were apparently shopping Jaylon at the draft, and his cap hit makes sense if we cut him after this year. Let's not act like the cowboys don't know he's an issue.
If he played like he did last year in 2018, no way they extend him. But they did, and I'm sure they've regretted since. With Lee and LVE being just as injury prone, they've been unable to take him off the field.
Okay disagree...I don't care what you refuse to see. Like I said...you don't have to use this goofy sled drill. Look at "highlights". He won't plant and drive. The one time he jumped to block a pass he wouldn't land on it.
You don't understand the ridiculous notion that they wouldn't keep him hurt but...would...with "terrible technique".
A stud college lber, and a starting NFL lber for the Dallas cowboys....has bad technique?
come on man. Just come on.
Yikes.
That is exactly what I am saying. Of COURSE it's "bad technique".If that stutter step and keeping his arms fully extended before hitting isn't bad technique I don't know what the hell else to call it.
Maybe your both right. It could be bad technique born out of a necessity to compensate for an injury that never healed.
Where was this supposed handicap in 2018? Even the first few games in 2019? Have you noticed the slide started post the contract? Why is that? So after almost 2 seasons of ineptitude we chalk it up to injury? I thought guys sit out when they are injured.
Why is he juking the sled before he attacks it? For real...there is a stutter step in his approach. A running back's type stutter step at that.
He's trying to see which foot needs to be planted.I just watched it a couple times and noticed the same thing. It’s like he thinks the sled is a RB, not sure which way he is going.
He's trying to see which foot needs to be planted.
If he makes it up there with the wrong foot leading...he has to gimp it...er I mean juke.
That is exactly what I am saying. Of COURSE it's "bad technique".
But it isn't coaching or suddenly forgetting how to be a bad ax linebacker.
Hell, at first glance I thought it was Romo....watching 9 hit the sled just looks wrong. i’ll never get used to the LBs having low numbers
