Frikin hilariousRight.
We would have drafted T.J. Watt but nobody selected Taco Charlton yet.
I think it turned out great with parsons and getting Joseph in the 2ndHe and Surtain might be great and Parsons might be as well.
I still go back to what was the #1 problem with this defense? The run game. Show me the CB that solves that.
This is a guy playing the most exalted position at Penn State and he sets the freshman record for tackles and then leads the team the next season not being a starter in most games.
The Cowboys had needs at CB, DT, LB and S but the overriding need was to stop the run and no CB is going to fix that.
Uh ah ah ah ah.
Is that what people think? That has to be naive fans.....in the NFL its rare a team comes right in and steals a guy from under you. Not saying it doesn't happen but it doesn't happen nearly as much as fans say. If the Cowboys wanted a player they would've traded up to get him. Its why teams trade up to begin with. These GM's and teams all talk to each other....they know when they need to trade up for a talent.
Wonder how that comment makes Parsons feel, knowing he was the 3rd choice and consolation prize?
LMAO at "leaked draft board". Like Apple leaks on new products?
Very true. It’s also true that they’ve been better than good in drafting for the past several seasons.

It’s not weird at all...
CB is a premium position and linebacker isn’t.
We’ve done good in the draft offensively but the risk taken in draft and misses defensively has arguably prevented this franchise from more success. That is true. Overall they’ve done well in the draft.
misses in free agency and extending some of the wrong players have been the bigger issues IMO.
but it’s kind of frustrating because as good as the drafting has been overall. It could have been even better if they weren’t stubborn at times with targeting a specific player or position at specific times.
Jaylon is toast, they should have "watched the tape" before the draft. Conversely, we would have broadcast to the world our interest in Parsons, then traded up to get him.The tweet says they had Parsons rated the best defensive player in the draft but they would have taken one of the corners instead.

I’d give us an A on offense and D on defense.
This shows their draft process is flawed.
It’s not a reach to take players who many had ranked higher than parsons especially if it fills a needReached? Neither one would’ve been a reach.
Not to mention Van Esch is still questionable whether he will stay healthy and warrant a 1st round pick .Yeah defensive drafting has been very spotty.
Obviously every team misses.
but Taco over Watt and Hill over one of the safeties are two moves That are hurting us right about now.
Nevermind Jaylon over well… anyone.
Reached? Neither one would’ve been a reach.
Not linebackers who can rush the passer at a high level.
