Thats why hes out there when he doesnt have to be and is the first guy there and the last guy to leave? Stop acting like you know things and spewing them on here as fact when they arent.
Well when you don't have to work as hard as the other guys because you're "arm is sore" it's easy to be the first there and last to leave.

He's working a 2 hour shift while his teammates are working a 12 hour shift. You're praising him for that? lol

They had veteran days off. For sore back, sore knee etc. Id love to see you tell Tyron Smith he was soft to his face.
What would he do? Beat me up and then owe me a bunch of money because of it? lol

Come on now. I could say that to his face and he wouldn't do anything because I wouldn't be worth his time or the big check he'd have to cut me.

Orthopedic based clinician here.

Sounds like he developed tendonitis from overuse with throwing, reduced pitch count to allow heal to make sure it doesn't become a tendinosis. Which is essentially chronic tendon inflammation.

Nothing really to see here as rest is pretty standard with all tendonitis cases no matter how severe. It is really a very minor issue.

Active rest and he is good to go without any missed time.
thank you for being the adult in the room...there are a few dak-bashers who started to throw the term Prosthetic around...I find it funny.

Dude stop putting that in the universe. Whats wrong with you?
Why? Sore arm = injury. They've already admitted it. And what they said it was, RARELY happens alone without other further shoulder damage. Don't tell me you believe jerral's hype///
Dak's out for the duration. I'm all-in. Shoulder joints are fragile things and have no muscle to protect the ligaments. I'd point you to the medical literature but I already quoted it in an earlier post so I'm not going to the trouble again.

For the record....I am not a Dak hater.
He is a tier 3 QB and my expectations for him (due to lack of natural talents) are very low!
I consider him problem # 1 for our on-the-field woes.....
tier 3? you are too kind. I would expect tier 5 or 6, perhaps not good enough to start in this league....I think you are starting to see the light on Dak....its an improvement

This is why you don’t pay a QB who just had a major leg injury 160 mil or 22% of your salary cap . Too much risk , too much for one player who has not won a super bowl or has actually proven he is a top 3 QB in the league . I hope for the sake of the cowboys that Dak recovers and played lights out this season and next , But the risk with paying Dak such money was always enormous .
how did you come up with 22% of salary cap? his cap hit in 2021 is 11%.....is this the new dak-bashers math? everything times 2 or 3?

Personally Im sick, tired, and exhausted of all the Dak threads, and at this point, if Dak isnt here I would rather be hearing about how bad GG and Rush are doing, at least its current time info.
Im not worried about Dak Prescotts' health as much as Im worried about the missed time with this offense, but hopefully he can get it in rhythm with the offense when he returns in a couple weeks.
He has time in pre-season practice and games to hopefully get it right before thurs night vs the GOAT,, we need this game to set the tone.
Dak is a Pro Vet, but this is value time when installing offense that needs to be not only understood between the ears, but chemistry with the offense.
Doesnt matter one bit if you are on either side of the Dak train,, he is our franchise and only hope at this point, without Dak at this point Jerry goes into panic mode and offers 2 for 1 hot dogs at the concession stands.
All those stressing out that Dak is really hurt are causing self inflicted nausea... Man is fine, and Jerry doesnt want to pick up the tab for the free hot dogs.
there is a benefit to this. the dak bashers and the dak haters all come to one thread and the rest of the forum is clean of garbage....

Oh stop. Yeah, that "bleed and fight for your brother" mentality is good for high school and college. You're a rare breed now if you're making the money these guys make and still keep that warrior attitude. These guys are babied now.

The only thing Dak is DYING to do is probably get back to his room so he can play Xbox.
full troll mode....

I support him now because he's the QB of my favorite team, but I'm not going to give him passes for it.

If he wants passes then he needs to lead us to something and earn those benefits of the doubt.

I don't see where any Dallas QB has gotten passes. Aikman won 3 SB and was booed towards the end of his career. Romo took crap from the unintelligent by daring to ware his cap backwards and playing golf on his free time. Dak as well is under constant attack. While I agree I support the team I also support the players who make up that team, does not mean I will not call out a player for a bad game but I do not spend my time trying to find any little thing to attack them over, such as missing a few training camp practice over a sore shoulder. I played sports growing up and I know not play will be a great play and every game is going to be a great game and all a player can do it pick themselves up and get ready for the next opportunity. Right now I'm more concerned over what Dak and this team needs to do to beat Tampa week one, than worried about what I will say should they not win. My expectation for this team and for many of these players are high heading into this season including Dak.

Well, to be fair his tiers are as follows:

Tier 1:Brady, Mahomes

Tier 2: Everybody Else

Tier 3: Dak

Right, @PAPPYDOG

Dak is in the same tier as Alex Smith, Tim Tebow, Mark Sanchez, Brissett, Tyrod Taylor, Brian Hoyer, and Flacco.
You know the Bus Driver club of the NFL........really reminds me of Tebow with a low skill set and trying to compensate for it with his upper body.

What McCarthy said was the team has taken a step back, not that Dak has taken a step back. He just indicated they would give him a little more time because there is no rush at this point in the year. He has also said this would be handled differently if it were during the season, but there isn't any urgency now.

I support the players also because they are on the Cowboys. That's the only reason. I'm not concerned with their back stories, if their teammates like em, or what they do off the field. I like all that feel good stuff, but the play on the field comes first to me.

Winning cures all. I'm tired of losing, so when I see guys that's never won anything being babied and defended like they are Tom Brady is irks me a little. If Dak didn't miss all that time I wouldn't be nearly as frustrated as I am about this mess, but because he's not thrown a meaningful pass since Week 4 last year it concerns me. Because I know if he plays horrible and we loss that first game the excuses will be flying for him.

If Dak would play like Ryan Tannehill and Kellen Moore would call plays like the Titans offense calls we'd win 12-13 games this year.

They won't though. Because Kellen Moore is a former QB who wants to be pass heavy and Dak thinks he's Mahomes.

It's all ego at this point. We saw how successful we was Dak's first 3 years when Zeke and the running game was the focal point. We went 13-3, 9-7, and 10-6 and won a playoff game. Then Dak wanted to be the man and his buddy Kellen Moore took over. It's been downhill ever since for the Cowboys as a team, but Dak put up his prettiest stats and got paid while he was at.

"tendinitis"? from "overuse"?

He hasn't played in almost a year. TC just started.

I am not sure how a strain relates to tendinitis...but that is what Dak claims he did....strain. I assume they are different things.
