Connor tosses Donald to the ground

Exactly . . . I stopped watching last year after that . . . worse display of football I have ever seen in my life. I was so ashamed to call them my team after that.

All because of politics

Prescott's been their leader for 5 years, Dalton was here for 5 minutes, I understand completely.

I tend to care more about coworkers I've known for awhile than I do about coworkers I've known for 5 minutes. I imagine there's some similarity in the NFL. Not completely of course, sounds like Dak was one of the team captains almost immediately after becoming the QB1.

Just about any time there’s a joint practice held between two teams at training camp, tempers boil over and at least one skirmish breaks out. On Saturday afternoon when the Rams and Cowboys took the field together, it happened twice.

The first was between Aaron Donald and Cowboys offensive lineman Connor Williams. They got into it after going head to head during team drills, with the two locking arms after the play was over and going to the ground. Williams wouldn’t back down to Donald, holding his own against the best defensive player in the world.

Later on in practice, Kenny Young and running back Tony Pollard exchanged blows. Young punched the ball out well after the play was over, which led to Pollard retaliating.

Most people that are throwing people have a better base. Give him credit on the play and blocking him but Donald was using him like a steering wheel after the play like in grip fighting. conner had one hand literally behind him got lucky to have one in his face mask and basically just ripped using what little leverage he had at the time and that one hand. Like the fight he is showing though.

Come on now he has been getting better .... he is game man maybe he is wanting to be Martin. Cowboy fans and their contract talks
He has to show consistent competence and then consistent DOMINANCE to be worth another contract.

I will remind those drooling about this scuffle that Joe Looney looked great on that one screen play.....

It would be awesome if our OL would have that mentality. I like T Smith and Z Martin, they are great and future HOF, but unfortunately do not have that in them. So it is not a shock to see the other linemen follow their lead. Dallas best OL, was when they had Newton, Allen, Gogan and Tuinei as well as Williams for a while, playing as a unit. That was one mean nasty line.

What did you watch
Connor used leverage and AD’s own weight to yank him to the ground. This is proof that 2 people can watch the same thing and an innocent man goes to prison because one of them saw what didn’t happen.

Donald was stiff arming Connor, getting man handled. Then yea Connor yanked him to the ground. That’s not Connor overpowering Donald or tossing him around. While getting pushed down Connor held on to Donald then spun Donald to the ground. If anything it was a hold by Connor. It certainly isn’t an example of Connor getting the best. I like Connors feistiness though and it was a good wrestling type leverage move to counter getting his head pushed down.

I'm sure I am going to regret asking this, but can you explain what you are referring to with that comment?
