What kind of fan are you?

I'm a 10 as a Cowboys fan. Whether or not I think we'll win the super bowl has no bearing on what sort of fan I am.

7. I’m optimistic about this season, but I do understand the potential weaknesses of this team. If healthy, I’m expecting 10/11 wins and a Wild Card victory.

Unfortunately that’s about been the ceiling recently. With a different HC and some games to make sure the defense is what I feel they can be, I think we can be a real SB contender. Don’t fully believe in McCarthy yet.

Definitely a 10.....Cowboy fan since the beginning. Always optimistic. I love football but don’t get emotionally wrapped up in it like many on here. It’s an entertainment venue for me...one of many

Yes sir - you got it right because the minute you get emotionally involved is when you will turn and it will eventually suck the life out of you.

Don't get me wrong, it took 20 plus years but it eventually happened to me. From crying at the Ice Bowl as a little kid, to missing school after The Catch, to the euphoria of the 90's, to the bitterness of Jerry to the countless hours defending Tony on here. It's all part of the past. I used to be depressed and angry until Wednesday after losses, now I just shrug it off and hope we win the following week.

I've become you, I hope for the best for the team, I hope Dak is fine and I just watch for the entertainment value.

Used to be 10 for sure up until about 2017, Id say Im at about a 6 right now. Still excited about every season, but Im at the point where I will be just amazed if we ever make another Conference Championship game again, let alone the Super Bowl.

That's what a realist is, we know (see more than know to be honest) the team has deficiencies - the defense is a huge question mark and the QB leaves a lot to be desired. But we 'hope for the best' because we are fans, even when the product is a poop show in the making.

You, on the other hand, strike me as a blind homer type who sees hall of famers at every position and thinks the super bowl is a given. When they fail you are absolutely stunned and start the blame game, but you direct the criticism in all the wrong places. If there was a meter for blind homerism I would put you at 500,000. Worst of all, you bash anyone who isn't a blind homer like yourself.
