What in the world will they do with Jaylon Smith?

Can't cut him due to cap. I suspect he will be gone before the 5th league day of the 22 season. I think it is clear the team won't be playing him every down this year which is fine with me

A trade would be cap viable, but who is taking him?

Exactly. Come 2022 he won’t be on the roster, only way for him to be out this year is via trade.

..I missed most of game. I guess he's still that bad..lol. Dang..

Jerry also drafted Parsons, Cox, and signed Neal.
I'd slow your roll. Cox has barely flashed on special teams and Neal looked like the worst player in camp until this past week.

I fear Jaylon Smith was little more than the unfortunate victim of circumstances that Jerry felt would place him in the role of a savior! o_O

In view of the results that have come in the years following his welcome into the Cowboys' fold, how well has that situation worked out?

I disagree teams have cut or traded players with higher cap hits. where there’s a will there is a way.

Nothing now.

Will likely try to trade him in the off-season or cut him would be my guess.
