Ok, so not a good one.

If they stay healthy I think they can be one of the 10 best. The odds of winning the SB? A realist would put that at about 5-10% at best.
But we are fans. We are not looking at it objectively without bias. We have a stake in the game. So we see what the season will be if it works out the way we think it can.

CowboysZone ULTIMATE Fan
Are you serious? He’s been accused of being drunk, or on some other drug, laughed at by another. Another poster said he’s the reason other fans think Cowboy fans are the worst and it’s only 3 pages in.
I don't care what he's been accused of, couldn't we say that about a lot of members here? Hell, I've been accused of being drunk AND on some other drug.

I am cautiously optimistic. The offense at full strength is Super Bowl ready. The defense is better than a year ago with a ton of young talent for the future, and a nice haul of veterans this offseason to fill needs now. If this defense can get to 10-15 , we can be anyone on any given day.

Tampa Bay has a chance to repeat.....The teams I got making the playoffs..

E- Dallas
W- Arizona
N- Minnesota
S- Tampa Bay

Wildcards....SF, Carolina

Close....

Rams....they need a RB
GB.....implodes...Rodgers exits
N.O....No Brees...No playoffs
Don't be toooo quick on the Saints. 4th ranked D in the NFL last year. 12th ranked O. They're no longer just an Offensive team.

Taysom started 4 games and went 3-1, and wasn't very good.

Seeing improvement against 2nd stringers is nice, but it doesnt make a leap to winning the SB. This is the talk of a crazy person. And if you watch guys like Jaylon and LVE out there, you will still see some major issues that DC's are going to attack without mercy. Then we have our starting 3T out for 6 weeks and find out Gregory has a foot injury.

Definitely an odd time to be talking about winning SB's.
I understand why you might think I was talking postseason success because of the OP that I responded to, but I said nothing about winning a SB. In fact, I actively guard against doing any type of predictions about record or postseason success.

I was primarily talking about getting pressure on the QB. I think it might be possible to get to the QB significantly more than last season. Mainly because:

1. I think this secondary has a chance to be better than last year’s.

2. Because Gregory has had a full offseason working with the team.

3. Parsons can get immediate pressure.

and

4. Quinn is so much better than Nolan.

Will it result in postseason success? I have no idea. However, I do think Dallas will make QB’s more uncomfortable this year.

This is why the fans of other teams think Cowboys fans are the most ridiculous fans in the NFL. Who in their right mind proclaims a super bowl after 2 pre season games?
I predict a Super Bowl in 3 years after the Defensive pups of the last 2 drafts mature and we cut ties with all the Terrible contracts and the players who have under achieved since signing them.

It is all predicated on Digg and Micah progressing and hopefully Boss man being a dedicated Prodessional ( I believe He Will) His talent is predicating a Pro Bowler. . .

It will be those Players combined with Lamb and hopefully Gallup on Offense that will be the future of this team.

Hopefully the Cowboys can continues to draft O Linemen early in the Draft. A Super Bowl will be a lock . . . even with the Bus Driver (which I doubt He will still be here by then)

Little known Fact: Big Red's Wife is a Mafia Princess and Christie's biggest supporter was the Owner of The biggest Private Prison systems in the Country . . . because capturing clothing and housing illegals is a Huge Business.

Christie thought he was gonna be President at this time . . when he was trying to be in the Public Eye . .

Jerry and the Prison owner must be friends and He called in a Favor for His Puppet

I agree on all your points. I also think we should see more pressure up the middle from the DT's than we did last year.

One thing of note, however is that we already have issues with Gregory and Gallimore. And usually when Lawrence misses camp from an injury he has a tendency to start off slowly.

Don't need to convince me about the church evils I'm a Christopher Hitchens (RIP) worshipper.
Actually, I read the Indians and the settlers got alone in a tenuous rough sort of peace with trade until the Army began a campaign of slaughter of men women and children/ Then the war was on. Custer found that out the hard way. Many of the Plains Indians fled to Canada to escape the slaughter brigades. It was never as simple as "Indians BAD> Europeans GOOD" as we were taught in school.
See how differently the history of New Zealand turned out cmpared to the US, with their indigenous people the Māori. They made them citizens in the Treaty of Waitangi and their langauage is one of the 3 official langauges of NZ to this day. They're an equal and integral part of NZ society.

Yeah, I know, you’re right. I’m still not convinced that Gregory has any injury to really care about though… but he could, so we can’t rule it out until we see him playing/practicing or until the team comes out and addresses it.

Losing Gregory from the pass rush equation would hurt. In that case, Parsons would probably play more LEO and less SAM than planned.
