I don't disagree.

But we were pretty much dominating the Texans. We had a 14-7 lead. If we simply ran into the pile the rest of the game, we win.

I expected to lose the Eagle game. This is a game that was pretty much won.
If we kept Rush in and dumped the nooch we win that game. Can't believe they gave nooch the whole 2nd half.
DiNoochi is a dumpster fire.

Good Lord how can you not take a look at the new players like Cox, Wright, Anae, and so on. There is a lot to look at. They have some good ones.

Yeah watched every second of it. I enjoy watching the young guys trying to show what they can do. I don't get why so many people complain about preseason.. As long as you watch it with your eyes wide open and understand what you're seeing you can get a lot out of it. People looking for scintillating execution are going to be disappointed every time. That's not what you're going to get in preseason.

That was a fluke. When it's time to play the Bucs in the opener DiNucci will be ready.

Romo did it often but still won

I don't think he would have in his second year, especially after not having a preseason his first year. He needed a lot of work before he was ready.

Not saying DiNucci ever will be on the same level as Romo, but playing in the NFL is a huge step up for some players, so they need time to get there ... if they ever do.

That's without Lawrence playing and Watkins was out tonight which is favorite for starting DT so far.

Will be some hard choices come cut day. Maybe Dallas will look for some trades to move guys around.

I wouldn't mind another defensive draft next year. Specifically safety, LB, DE and DT. Possibly corner in mid rounds if Brown and Lewis are about done, although i like the future with Diggs, Joseph, Wright, Canady plus Reggie Robinson will be back

I didn't know Watkins was that high on the depth chart. That's interesting.....

And yeah I'd go defensive heavy again with some offensive line sprinkled in. I'd have no issue with it at all.

I don't think Dinucci could win a game if he threw one pick!

I don't know what he has in his head. He knows the offense. He knows what he wants to do.
He just seems to not understand there is a defense on the field whose job is to stop him.

And to think Rush was the best thing we trotted out all night, maybe we best be praying to the god of Cowboys, call in all our favors, and see if we can find the devil's number for some soul selli....searching.

McCarthy chose to hand his defense to Mike Nolan.

He also chose Ben DiNucci as the young QB he wanted to work with.

These are two horrific decisions that are tough to overlook.

Wait. You didn't mention MM keeping Dak around. You slipping. You slipping dude.

A 7th round pick isn't a horrific decision.

Thanks for your input but when you single out a complete bum to waste the pick and time on that decision is glaringly bad. Like you don't know what you're looking at.

But a lot less than in the last two games.

Something just looked off.

But you have to figure this.

The Texans are a dumpster fire.

They have a roster full of NFL vets.

If you were semi-decent, you could show up and be one of the 30+ free agents they signed.

That might have been the most NFL-experienced roster in a 3rd preseason game ever.

Not going to dump on the kids.
Honestly they started off slow but I had no issues with the young guys tonight. If I'm being honest....it seemed like Dinucci was the only one who really looked over his head.

It's really important to learn not to do ... and DiNucci is like the kid who has to learn the hard way.

Gilbert has led what 8? drives and we have 3 points to show for it? He has almost as many turnovers as points? Yikes!!!
Gilbert gets alot of good feelings for being the first QB to look presentable last year after Prescott went. He still didn't look good. It was just a very lower bar

I think that Parsons is going to be dominant and they need to get lucky with the health of the offensive line and have a healthy Dak. The defense should be pretty good.
