Kelvin Joseph has been unimpressive

There's nothing wrong with Kelvin Joseph.

Now Nahshon Wright? Yeah, he sucks.

Risen---Nashon looked so good early in camp.....it takes a while for defensive back to get their feet under them....receivers are faster and bigger and stronger every year....Nashon playing zone might be best position?

Diggs came out fighting from Day 1. Sure, he got beat at times, but other times he made big plays. Also, Diggs improved as the season went along.

Yes, it's still way too early to judge Joseph, but he's not off to a good start so far, and he possibly might not do much this year if that groin injury ends up becoming a season long affecting injury.
And Joseph came out fighting since day 1.....and he has also made big plays in preseason. Joseph hasn't improved as the season went along....because the season hasn't even started lol.

He's right where he's suppose to be.

Joseph won't be a starter. Just wait and see. Nice way to use a costly early 2nd round pick, eh?
2nd round picks bust every single year....2nd round picks aren't always day 1 starters.....he has a high ceiling and happy he's here. Can't wait for you to see what everyone else seems to be able to see. Might come next season I don't know but can't wait for you to see him ball out and eat crow.

Good. I hope I do eat crow. For the meantime, pipe down. The kid has a long way to go. Hope he proves he was worth a costly early 2nd round pick. Way too many 2nd rounders have failed to produce.

Classic Jerry. Second round picks are meant to be gambled away on magic beans instead of invested in solid, dedicated football players.

Joseph will be like Diggs, start slow early in the season, get burned a few times but by the end of the season we'll be saying he has pro bowl/all pro potential in his future, just like Diggs.

IMHO Diggs was light years ahead of Joseph coming out of college and into the first year of NFL ball. Diggs was a tested and proven player at Alabama. Joseph flashed some potential his final year. I would not expect as much from Joseph this year as I did from Diggs last year.

according to coaches hes coming along fine..ill trust them he was never intended to start day 1 that why Brown and lewis were retained to help not throw these kids to the wolves..Diggs struggled early came on better and better ..i imagine KJ and Wright will be in the mix to challenge the starters in 2022 but this year used to get experience and in an emergency..

I think that's why i'm ok with him because I called this months ago. He hasn't played enough football to be a starter here YET. Luckily, Canady was a pleasant surprise and should help in the mix of corners. No matter how much hype came from camp....Wright and Joseph were not going to be relied on heavily out the gate.

I disagree. I think he's been good. Not great, but solid. He should be the opening day starter opposite side of Diggs, throw him into the fire, on the job training. He'll never learn if untalented progress stoppers like Brown (who have reached their ceiling) are played ahead of him. Joseph will be a good one, if and only if he gets on the job experience. Also, Joseph, like Diggs, is an above-average tackling CB. We haven't had a lot of those in recent years.

Yep.

If only we don't repeat the ole Jason Garrett / Marinelli mistake of rolling with progress stopper like Brown "becaus3 th3y HaV3 T3h ExP3r!en¢3!!1!"
I think we may do that early......but I don't think Joseph is ready quite yet....but I expect the vets to be on top of the depth chart.
