Ameer Adullah was the only other specialty back i had thought the team could be interested. As a 3rd RB, Cowboys not likely to want to spend very much into that.
i had thought we'd decided to go with the plan we did a couple of years ago in only 2 RBs on the 53 roster,..any more would be considered from the practice squad.
Clements isnt 40 fast but he seemed to play faster on the field and especially as a receiver outta the backfield in his former Eagles dayz.

Was that the guy who caught a TD that I swear wasn't a TD in the Super Bowl?

wrong... he had over 100 yards receiving in the Super Bowl and had a ton of receiving catches and TDs in the 2017 regular season. He was Wentz's preferred third down running back.

He had 10 catches and 2 TD's in 2017. Not quiet sure how that equates as a ton. Doesn't even land him in the to 50 in either category for a RB that year, I mean he was tied for 2nd amongst Eagle RBs.

I like him and the signing, but lets not start with the hyperbole already. He hasn't even put a Cowboys jersey on yet.

He's definitely the 3rd back behind Zeke/TP. But a useful one on offense unlike Dowdle who was a STer only. I just hope Clement chooses a real RB number (23-49, since 20-22 are taken) and not some stupid single digit number which was a stupid rule change anyway. Clement's usual number, 30, is unfortunately taken by the worst cornerback on our 53.

Surprised they are keeping a 3rd RB. Clement is a good special teams guy though and lots of experience

Not only that, but this should piss off Eagles fans considering he took the snap on the Philly Special....and now he's a Cowboy!! Muahahahahahahaha

Completely agree with that (both his role and the number haha).

yeah

I despise Jaylon Smith anyway, but I secretly hope him and Donovan Wilson (and Cedrick Wilson) fail because of their gimmicky number changes. DBs and WRs should wear 20-49, no exceptions. LBs too (40-59), I don't like Parsons wearing 11 but at least it's not a single digit number. He should wear something professional like 51 or 54 or something. He's deserving of one of the better classical 50's LB numbers.

I'm hoping that Hooker (FS) and Mukuamu (SS) become our long term young core legion of boom.
