I think Tampa had the #1 Run D last year so it will be hard to run the ball. Keys to me are to attack downfield and make Brady as uncomfortable as possible. If he gets comfortable we might lose by double digits.

Don't turn the football over. And take advantage of turnovers the Bucs give to us.

What's it going to be then, eh?

  • Put Wright on Evans. He's similarly sized and has similar physical traits. Yes, he's a 3rd rookie, but he's the best equipped to handle Evans while Diggs takes Godwin.
Horrible strategy.

I would have Diggs trail Evans.

We think this guy is our CB1, let him go for it.

You’re a great fan
The Cowboys owe their 2 post season wins in 25 years directly to your refusal to face facts
If only you were even more of a blind homer we might have won 3 post season games

on second thought your lack of ‘enough’ positivity is the cause of our problems

:omg:
I love you too man...if only my positivity could transform my energy to the field and our players....you must watch a lot of marvel movies....or perhaps you have the force with you

Hope that Tom Brady has erupted in a bad case of venereal warts.

Here are key things that the Cowboys can do to beat Tampa on Opening Night. Yes, I said BEAT Tampa. This game isn't a lost cause before it's played. These are two NFL teams playing each other, so each can win. Here's the key things to do when playing Tompa Bay.

  • Pressure and hit Brady as much as possible. Brady struggles when he's getting hit a lot. This is how the Bears beat him last year.
  • Run the ball a lot. Oline's strengths should be run blocking. The Bucs are going to try to blitz a lot. A good way to slow them down is to run it down their throat. When they play run heavy team like the Bears, their defence struggles. Additionally, we will need this to control the clock. Do not give Brady a lot of time on the ball.
  • Put Wright on Evans. He's similarly sized and has similar physical traits. Yes, he's a 3rd rookie, but he's the best equipped to handle Evans while Diggs takes Godwin. Joseph's not ready to play, nor should he. Brown is what we know him to be and does not match up well on Evans. Wright does. He might get beat early, but he's a rookie. Let him get experience against a WR he actually can match up with. I'd also put a little safety help from Kazee on Evans early to help out Wright until he appears comfortable.
  • Lewis should take the slot WR. He's best equipped there.
  • Quick passes. We don't need deep shots this game, at least early on. We need to get the ball out quickly and let the WRs and Zeke use their feet.
  • Most importantly - NO TURNOVERS! We need to not fumble and not throw INTs.
  • Oh, and field position will be useful.
If we can do that, I think we will win.

Agree but I might add, they don't have much of a running game. How about taking away a couple of his fav targets ( Gonz and Evans ). I have no doubt if we limit the turnovers and pressure Brady we win this game.

play the most utterly perfect game ever played no turnovers, no penalties, and execute every play as desined ..outside of that while it should be competitive but most have us losing.,.

you are right. they did...a ridiculous 1289 yards....that's going to be tough...if you can't run. it makes the pass defense so much easier. then you are in obvious passing situation, pin your ears back and go after the QB....they had 48 sacks last year. good for 4th in the league. sack percentage was top 10....quarter back hits they were third with 68, top 10 in hurries, top 10 in bl;itzing, with 39% of plays, all leading to shorter throws, which was top 10 again at only 7.6

this sucks for us.

Middle pressure on GOAT all game long.
It's a loss imo if middle pressure isn't priority one.
Brady’s kryptonite.

Trouble is Dallas generates almost all pressure from the end. And no quarterback steps up into the pocket better than that man. Nobody.

The real success on Thursday is ending Tom Brady’s career. Show that greedy a-hole what it means to be 43 and easily injured.

Yeah..to me, it has all the signs of a bad Friday morning for fans expecting something special. I've been wrong before but I said when the schedule came out that this would be a L. Nothing has really changed my mind.

pressuring Brady has always been tough, you need to cover very well other wise he gets the ball out quick for easy completions.

This is why you also need to knock his receivers off their routes. Inside 5 yards, the Cowboys CBs need to mug his receivers. Even then he will find Gronkowski down the field.

To win the Cowboys will need to avoid stupid mistakes. They cannot give Brady extra possessions. And especially avoid touching him in the pocket because the will draw a flag.
