I usually dont complain about these thing but opening up with 2 games on the road And closing on the road is bullspit.

I could swear back in the day if you opened up at home - you closed on the road and visa versa switching every year.
Traditionally we’ve usually opened on the road cause of heat in Texas. But I’m not sure it necessarily meant we closed at home. Can’t be sure. Good question!

I’m trying to recall all those years I attended games that we had 3 straight at home. Not sure that happened very often if at all either which seems to be more common now.

If it wasn't it should be and no team should play 2 games on the road or at home to open or close the season.

If you're a legit contender it shouldn't matter. Dallas isn't . They still wouldn't be a contender if they played the next 16 at home.
If Dallas isn't a contender, who the hell is?

Could someone tell me how's he's a hot commodity if he cant even figure out the freakin red zone.
Another good question . But that’s becoming quite a topic on Moore.

This is the same problem we’ve had for years. The years we’ve had more success in Red zone is when our RB led league in rushing.

yeah.

slightly better.

12 percent chance at 0-2, historically.

I think 0-2, and big Mikes days are numbered in Dallas.

both O and D game plans were flawed in the Bucs game.

I gotta see wins.
Absolutely, this will be a tough game (underdogs +3) As you stated, at 0-2 we would be in a real difficult situation. Dak will need to have another huge game! Irony is if Jerry will wake up and invest in a corner were not having this conversation.

I’m not sure about opening with 2 on the road and then closing finale on the road. I think opening with 1 road game and closing with 1 could be more common than we realize. Might make a good thread .

But we also play 3 straight on the road . Don’t recall this many 3 game stretches before at home or on the road. That stands out more to me.

It’ll be a game but I think we’ll edge em out…. Never can be sure with Dallas though.

I’ll keep my good luck crystals near by to help em out :D

I didn't think the Chargers looked that dominant at all.

Looking around the league today, Dallas actually looks like a top 5 team.
No, not that dominant. I was mostly impressed with Herbert and their receivers. They could cause some issues for our secondary. Might be a real shootout.

You have 15 more games to dig your way out. If you can’t you’re not a very good team.

Not necessarily. We don’t face another playoff team from last year until week 11 in KC.

We have 3 home games in a row coming up. Our schedule is much more favorable in coming weeks.

'Playoff team from last year' means zero in this league for the current year. And home games for Dallas means almost as little seeing as we don't have any real home field advantage. Eagles and LAC are better this year than last year. Neither made the playoffs.

Yea but 0-2 turns the pressure up. Then we’re talking about avoiding 0-3.

Actually 15 more games to dig your way out. If you can’t avoid 0-3 then it’s probably going to be a long season. Losing to Tampa is one thing but losing to the Chargers and Eagles is another.

Yea, I was impressed with our performance. And have more confidence that I thought I would going into Chargers game.

Unfortunately moral victories for what is an average football franchise now is more commonplace than we’d probably want to admit:)

Problem is the same as most years. Loaded on offense.....thin on defense. We have Larry Brown starting at CB and probably the worst rotation of DTs in the NFL. Thats just not how you build a championship team. I'm looking at another 8-9 win year thanx in large part to an undermanned defense.

I think 4-2 at the bye was an optimal projection. 3-3 is ok. But when you fall to 0-2 then 2-4 comes into the equation.

Depending on how we’re playing and circumstances 2-4 at the bye could make some folks nervous . Just saying. I’m always looking ahead to different possibilities and scenarios.

Which we could be impressive in LA and make a run at home to 4-1. But I’m just putting it out there. It’s a concern to how a season can turn.

It’s not a must win . But next week could be.
