I didn't say he sucked.... ever. I just said he isn't so GREAT. I always said 25 out of thec32 nfl coaches are damn good.... the GREAT ones are determined by who is lucky enough to have a great qb. Bill is just like all the others fired before him for not hitting the qb jackpot. Bill is finding out, once again, because he's been there before, what life is like to not have a greT qb. It has put him right back into the coaching heap of mediocrity......how can you deny it?

Billy boy never missed playoffs except one year during bradybrun...Brady leaves, bam, no playoffs in year one or two after Brady.....yep, I’m already calling it.

Belichick is an excellent coach, but there are other excellent to very good coaches in the NFL that haven’t had the same level of success. Coaching will only go so far. Talent is the baseline necessary ingredient for the ultimate success. Would Saban have even sniffed a championship if he was coaching Middle Tennessee State?

Why do so many feel this strange need to polarize? It's both, coaching and talent.

Yippers. Fans put too much emphasis on McCarthy being a Super Bowl coach. That’s something because it is difficult to even get there, but all that really means is he was a part if the specific ingredients and circumstances that produced that accomplishment. That’s the difference with coaches like Landry and Parcells.

Its unfathomable that for so many people its "either or" but never both.

I believe I have been very consistent in saying that the Brady/Belichick pairing was a perfect storm of Coach and Player, that both made each other better...
