Most have a life to lead far outside of this team. If the team isn't committed to winning, which Jerry isn't by keeping a HC like Garrett on the team, I am more then capable of focus on my career, family, travel and countless positive events in life, without missing on anything. Little concern to be called a "bandwagon" person. If the team didn't care, why should I ? It is nice to see good play again though, and can actually see a team with heart out there.
I didn't call you a Wagoneer, just suggesting if you can't find happiness here move on. I think as we age football becomes less and less important. I can remember when I was so passionate about football but now it's just another hobby. Even music has fallen for me.

It's all about family.

The 60 yard field goal in Tampa, that could’ve led to points.

Not calling timeout or running more plays before the Zuerlein field goal. Could’ve lost us the game.

Not calling timeout before half. We could’ve moved the ball. Philly got the ball after half and could’ve made it a close game.

exactly
Can’t gloss over these real issues with MM
These exact problems will cost us in a tight playoff game

Those were my exact thoughts last night. Sooner or later McCarthy's inability to figure out how end of half/end of game situations is going to cost this team.
  • Giving Brady the ball at midfield in Tampa by attempting a 60 yard field goal with a compromised kicker
  • End of game mismanagement in San Diego
  • End of half mismanagement vs. Philly
I'm not a big fan of Jerry meddling, but Jerry needs to meddle in this situation and get McCarthy set straight.
Bahahahahha..... don’t meddle in football decisions, jerry. But since I think their now is an issue the coach sucks at, I want you to meddle, jerry.

I would think someone that had some intelligence could follow along, but I sometimes forget the audience.

I’m curious.....how would a Gmail or owner go about teaching a long time nfl coach how to be better at clock management?

1min 30sec+, 3rd and 24 you call the freaking timeout every g dam time. Could have had at the least another 3 points.
I don’t disagree. But if he calls timeout, we get a penalty and they go score. It’s 20-14 and they just caught momentum. They carry it out after half its 21-20. I 100% would call a timeout every time there. Just saying it’s likely why he did not want to rock the boat.

Yup. In the playoffs those things WILL lose you a game. I cant believe coaches get paid all this $$ to be bad at their job
We saw it with Shanahan Sunday night. Garapolo snapping the ball with 13 seconds left on the play clock with 3 timeouts and ball inside the 10 was in-excusable. Then no sqib on the kickoff. 20 seconds right there given to Rodgers. He would have never had time to pull off that drive.

Yeah I am not sure there was anything wrong with letting the clock run there - that was 50-50 in my book. Call a timeout and they go for it and make it and you just gave them a batter chance.....

I did not like going for the TD on 4th down and giving up the chance for a 16 point lead. I have not built up enough trust in our D for that yet.

Eli and Peyton Manning are HOF players.

So is Aaron Rodgers.

They and many more former players and people paid to actually report on the NFL all say the same thing, McCarthy is a MORON.

If anyone is the wannabe it's you.

Eli and Peyton Manning never said anything bad about McCarthy.

Aikman says a lot of good things about McCarthy. His a HOF player too.

Do you think that the reason why Moore has been terrific as a playcaller might have something to do with McCarthy?

McCarthy has to be the coach with the least presence in Cowboys history.
I still don't know how he positively impacts a game.
This team should make the playoffs given its potent offense, its improving defense and its location in the terrible NFC East.
But I fear coaching is going to cost us in the playoffs.
I simply don't see the advantage McCarthy brings to the Cowboys.
Maybe some McCarthy backers can enlighten us what he brings to the table on game day and otherwise.

Nick reacts to Cowboys 41-21 win over Eagles last night: "Dak Prescott was awesome!"

Chris Broussard basically ignores the state of NFL defenses and says our pass defense will be our downfall? Lolllll

Our defense may turn out to be terrible but this current version of our defense is what a modern day championship level of defense plays like.

Yup. He did the same thing in the super bowl.

Anybody who says, "Jerry Jones picks the players" loses all credibility.

Can u imagine how bad we'd be then??????

NOW you know why I refer to him as Corky!!! He did fall into a Lombardi....but just like Corky getting his High School Diploma, he did VERY little to earn it himself, and needed tons of assistance along the way...in other words, it was gifted.

LOL - nope, not at all.

And the Mannings questioned very loudly why Cowboys allowed the clock to run off.

That is an indictment on the HC, whether they called him out by name or not.
