People bash Big Mike. I like the dude.
This was a Jerry-Stephen-McCray-Quinn decision.

you think he had no part in it? Jerry certainly don’t make decisions like this.
Oh for sure. Don’t sleep on Washington. They just lost Jon Bostic for the seasonJabril Cox next man up . Wouldn’t surprise if he ends up in Philly or Giants.
You think Mike made that decision?
No one is more of a liability than Jaylon. I fully expect Cox to start seeing more reps on defense. Up until now he was basically a special teams guy and thats it.
Can't admit he sucks?I think so too.
The only other thing it could be is poor play which is very much possible.

Cant have some fake leader like that mucking up the chemistry.
Screw him. He can go back to helping out ONLY select types of people with his business programs. Good riddance.
That’s got to be the thinking and it’s a logical move based on the riskNothing saved this year but saves them from a guaranteed salary in 2022 if injured.
I think there is zero
Absolutely zero chance the Jones’ boys admit their massive mistake and cut Jaylon. Unless the HC asked them to.
so yeah I think Mike had something to do with it.
Maybe there is a catch in the contract somewhere. Or they want someone else. Something else going on besides money anyways. If he is paid then bench him. Maybe mad over limited snaps. His contract is guaranteed for this season
I don’t see how it saves any money cutting him now over after the season
I think what is being said is if he gets hurt and injury carries over to next season he is fully guaranteed his salary for 2022Um….don’t get that. He’s been a decidedly average NFL linebacker this year playing a lower number of snaps. You already owe him all his money this season and you’re not going to get anyone better off the street.
Just seems like a pointless move that only hurts depth
Personnel, salaries and contracts dude, clearly in the Jones' court.
