Hmm maybe. JG wouldn’t have done it. Or allowed to do it.I think Fat Mike may have told Jerry this had to happen and happen now.

Do 6 year vets go on waivers? I don't think so.That explains the timing. Curious to see where he lands after clearing waivers.
No one is taking on his contract, but for less money someone will give him a shot.
It’s the 2022 injury guaranteeMaybe there is a catch in the contract somewhere. Or they want someone else. Something else going on besides money anyways. If he is paid then bench him. Maybe mad over limited snaps.
Right, Dak should be making Derek Carr money and it would be one of the biggest discounts in the league.Wow!
Making room for guys that are coming back and can play better.
If Jerry had paid Dak early instead of having him play out his contract we could have saved all the money we gave to Jaylon. Expensive mistake times two.
It's a giftwhat the hell have we seen from Cox that makes you think he is an improvement over anyone. How many snaps per game has cox even gotten? How many tackles does he have?
HahahahahahahahaahahaVet life....lmao
But others on here say he doesn't suck.Yes. He sucked. The tape doesn't lie.
I agree. And they look like idiots for not doing this in March before wasting $7 million.
With his 2022 guarantee, if he got hurt with one of those year long recovery injuries, he would cost his salary and a roster spot for next year. This is a ballsy move and something Bill Belichik would do.Um….don’t get that. He’s been a decidedly average NFL linebacker this year playing a lower number of snaps. You already owe him all his money this season and you’re not going to get anyone better off the street.
Just seems like a pointless move that only hurts depth
Screw him. He can go back to helping out ONLY select types of people with his business programs. Good riddance.
I agree. It has to be something in house that went down.Let’s hope Cox and who ever else replaces him has a good game. Lol. Jaylon misses a play here and there but wow. At this time is just strange.
Wow....
Probably the right move. I really respect how hard he worked to get back onto the field after the horrible injury, but he never really recovered the elite athleticism he once had.
This was a Jerry-Stephen-McCray-Quinn decision.
