He put way more bad plays on tape than good ones. Im sure the coaches tolerated him more than believing in him to do his job. Dude went from a possible game changing LB before the contract to a business decision making finesse player with his eyes on his third contract. You can’t afford to have your middle linebacker, a supposed leader, be a non-physical primadonna.

His demise has been one of the saddest I’ve witnessed as a Cowboys fan since both Roy Williams(es).

I think what is being said is if he gets hurt and injury carries over to next season he is fully guaranteed his salary for 2022
