Does this upset the locker room?
you're moving the goalposts, no one said the coach wasn't informed and brought into the loop but the decision sure as hell wasn't his. Stephen and his front office do the grocery shopping and cap management, they didn't want to be on the hook for 2022 and any possible injuries.
Yea so if he gets a year long injury the Cowboys would be on the hook for 2022
He went from playing 86% of the snaps in week 3 to 40% game 4..
Does this upset the locker room?
I think Rowdy had some input us wellThis was a Jerry-Stephen-McCray-Quinn decision.
One can hope.Guaranteed to end up in New York, Philly or Washington.
NY lost Martinez
WFT just lost Bostic for the season
Philly is just Philly.
Makes me with KJ Wright was still out there
And pork chops.BOYS IM THROWING A PARTY LETS GOOOO I GOT THE BEER N SCOTCH
Starting to feel like 1991.That’s a benefit of this move. Players need to have that fear in the back of their mind that they could get cut if they don’t perform.
On a human level I understand the posters who say they’re sorry that the guy lost his job but, this is professional football, and players feeling that their jobs are guaranteed I think is part of the sense of entitlement that set this franchise back for decades.
Another thread going on today ask when will you believe that the team is for real. Well to me this is a pretty solid piece of evidence that they mean business this year. Coldhearted business.
It's not moving the goal posts. The reason you have coaches is to evaluate the roster. Can't say the Cowboys over the years have done a very good job in that regard. Seems like a night and day difference since McCarthy got here. And that includes this move.
You are doing is making an assumption and it may be correct, I dont know. But who do you think is the next linebacker up if something happens? It could be that a part of this move is because they want to get Cox more PT.
