Risen is a troll/ It's all he is. One of the worst posters here. He purposely wants to get a rise out of people. It's all he is good for and so many fall for it. He tries to inject humor and fails horribly at all. He is a one shtick poster.

He is the equivalent of Skip Bayless. He posts takes just for the views and attention. Rile up the crowd. He does not even believe most of what of what he types. He is the same guy who told us Dalton was the real deal and this team would be much better off with him.

Lol.

You switched the goalposts from comparing QB's to comparing systems.

Brady is winning by throwing at a much greater clip than handing off.

Dak has not done that. It is what it is.

I'm excited about Dak this season. He made some throws last week that I have been critical of him for not making in the past. To compare Dak to Brady as far as mastery of the passing game goes is foolish, though. Don't do that.
You are calling yourself foolish because you are the only one comparing Dak to Brady. He made a comment and all I said was he's literally describing Brady.

Are you telling me that Brady in his career is known to sling the football all over the field?

He preached out how great Wentz was all these years. A troll whose takes are not even close to being accurate.
Its funny....his "fans" want to say he's trolling on his Wentz views....but mind you he's had to resort to that after Wentz has sucked. His lovefest and hate for Dak all started out real.

Fair post.

But you and I both know there's several that root against Dak and they always chime in with something negative when say, Rockport, posts a pro-Dak thread. Like us Dak fans that comes to his defense when someone bashes him for no reason, the anti-Dak crowd comes in with negative comments when we make positive threads about Dak. Some would say that's the same thing but IMO, this is a Cowboys message board and Dak at the moment is the face if this team, so it makes ZERO sense to root against the QB of your favorite team.

Yes, I see many from the Anti-Dak crowd who will rush into any positive thread made about Dak and either post some sort of negativity to downplay or discredit Dak's accomplishments and achievements or they'll mock the OP of the thread for posting whichever positive Dak stat, comment or subject, if is the topic of the post. Or will make some sort of remark to belittle the positivity behind a good Dak stat or accomplishment.

Right...I seem to remeber a few on a Rock thread yesterday claiming "this is a troll thread" and wanted it banned...same ones are here and ok with it...Again it really doesn't matter, anyone who thinks this team is better off with out Dak has not football credibility left...simple

most people have been saying this for a while. dak was his best in 16 before Garrett tried to change him into Brady.
Yep and it worked because Garret played a more solid style of ball relying on the run game. But he only did it because he was forced to do so. Having a rookie at qb forced his hand. As soon as he was able, he went back to being pass happy. The same is true for 2014 Romos best season by the way. It's no coincidence that we had the league leading rusher in Murray that year but what happened? Garret couldn't stand relying on the run and I believe Kellen is the same. It's only because of fat mike that we've reigned it in.

It's not a knock on Dak. It's football 101.

Agree which makes it more frustrating when Dallas reached for Taco Charlton (and passed on TJ Watt) and Trystin Hill (and passed on Juan Thornhill). While the draft isn't an exact science it's nice to see Dallas hit on guys like Diggs, Parsons, and Osa as you can see what good young talent can do for a team like Dallas.
I agree. But when I think about rueing on past mistakes....I think about what happens if we draft TJ Watt? We may not end up with the same team we have now...hell maybe its even better? Maybe worse? You just never know. Every mistake and success we've had has resulted in the team we see now.

I think about that as well. And just how good the current defense (and overall team) might be if they had those two players instead?

The schtick works when we aren’t winning, but when we are it just becomes very cringey and try hard.
I think that's probably what it is. When you do it now at 4-1....its like one of those jokes where you kind of need to read the room but you don't lol.

I can’t see where it could be “worse”.

What's up, bros?

6:35 of the video. This is indisputable. Less of Rayne Dakota means more winning.

Like a true 40 million dollar franchise QB.

That's the first attribute you look for. Someone who needs to be carried.

Cowboys!

Cowterd? Really?

This is the same idiot that said less Aikman was better.

Ok so let's say this hypothetically.....

We get TJ Watt.....our defense gets better....we win a few more games....Jason Garrett may still be our head coach right now. Or maybe we don't have Lamb and Diggs right now.

Its like the whole Zack Martin or Johnny Football saga. If we actually draft Johnny Football that means we don't draft Dak the following season. Then without Zack the offensive line is probably worse which probably means we don't probably draft Zeke with the 4th overall? You just never know how these things play out.

I think fans want to add TJ Watt to this current crops of guys but this team is a product of flopping on Taco Charlton.

Lol.

You literally compared 2016 Dak to Brady.

I don't ķnow how you define "sling the ball all over the field", but the Pats were a pass heavy team and so are the Bucs.

How many rushing titles have Patriots rb's won during Tom's reign?

RB's were disposable in the Pats system. Adequate was good enough.

I see what you mean with draft position yeah. But that part about Garrett still being coach was uncalled for.
