Twitter: Tyron Smith MRI on neck

No. He was limited so nothing in practice seems to have happen. If anything happens to the best RT in football he gets a MRI. Especially if he had surgery on it. Not sure if it was fuses or not. Likely already have results.
It was a rhetorical question.

Last week, TS was just on the "Cowboys Hour" talking to Brad Sham about how much better he feels and should be past all his neck problems in his past.

Truly it could be a very small thing they just want to check. It could be bigger too though.

The key is waiting for news before we panic.

Doesn't this feel a little overreaction? He's been playing lights out and there wasn't any clear issue in the game, feels like it might be precautionary

I remember Travis Frederick talking about how great he was feeling just before he announced his retirement. Anytime a player starts saying how good they’re feeling, brace yourself!

I felt great when I retired! Maybe that's their thinking too? Lol

Seems like we should be preparing his obituary. I bet this is a routine thing, and he'll be mowing down Patriots on Sunday.
I said earlier that by the end of the day CZ members will have him in the ICU on life support.

Haven’t seen the ‘told you should have moved up and drafted Sewell’ crowd yet. Or the ‘should have drafted Slater’ crowd. Give them time.

By the way Sewell has given up 4 sacks in the last 2 (?) games. He’s not looking so good. Slater looks good. I don’t think Darisaw has even played yet.

Yep I guess I'm a part of that crowd.

Not a qualified o line coach or scout. Just a regular Joe who watches a little extra film and has regular opinons as most here do.

I 'fessed up on Steele while he has now proven as a serviceable OT.

I will still hold my own personal beliefs on the importance of an elite left tackle being 1A to only the QB position on how his performance impacts team wins.

Now I will root like he** that Philbin can turn Ball into Tyron Smith part II in time as to not mess up how well this whole offense is currently performing.

That is, unless as some others have stated, this IS NOT anything major.

But, Im a skeptic on this team's historically sketchy injury reporting to the public though.

But that's just me.

Hopefully this a wee bit gamesmanship from McCarthy, and Tyron is getting a routine check-up on the surgery. If Tyron is out, who do you want at LT...Ty or Knight? I still feel Dallas will this either way.

Yeah he is done practicing for the week. Probly sore enough for JJ to say step over here in this MRI machine. He will start getting the Romo treatment and practicing once a week and them the walk through. If he isn’t already. Unless something happened in practice.
