Not being a homer, but if we need help winning the East then we aren’t who we hope we are anyway.

I religiously cheer against the Eagles every season, but I’d be completely fine with them beating the Bucs tonight. We need the Cards and the other 1 loss teams in the NFC to start taking L’s. If we can get homefield in the playoffs, it’ll be a big deal. Our offense (under Dak) has been putting up massive numbers at home dating back to last season (pre-Dak injury).

We are at 15% chance for the #1 seed right now, Cards at 38%. A loss by the Cards though drops them way down. Dallas, TB, LAR if any win then it evens those percentages of Cards lose.

There appears to be 5 contenders in the NFC. Yes, it’s early, things can change but the moment, these teams appear to be the class of the conference.

In no particular order

Arizona
Dallas
Green Bay
Los Angeles
Tampa Bay

Dallas has already lost to Tampa Bay. That game is going to have playoff implications as the season continues.

I’m not saying we should be rooting for Philadelphia to win tomorrow but I am saying we should be rooting for Tampa Bay to lose.

The Eagles are not going to be in the NFC East division race so don’t come in here with that garbage.

The first Order of business is a division win and a playoff berth. Keep doing what you’re doing at 4-1 and win those division games. Any team can get hot or cold at any time. Rooting for home field or a playoff bye in week 6 is putting the cart before the horse. Cowboys just have to keep winning and let those chips fall where they may!
