Twitter: Tyron Smith MRI on neck

"lAeL cOlLiNs iS tRaDe bAiT."

Precautionary practice time this week:

Give Connor Williams some snaps at backup LT and McGovern at LG.

Play the best 5.

Nsekhe is garbage.

Play Ralston at FB.

Or Brandon Knight?

If a LT is there worth the pick it would have been the right pick either way
But no reason to reach
Just take the best player
Yes, I get not reaching.

But they REALLY need to address what appears to be Smith breaking down.

Doesn’t matter if he’s breaking down or not
This may be something or nothing
But if a LT is the best player there you take him eaither way
I’m not totally convinced Collins is a long term answer either
But other than a RB or QB I’d take any guy at almost any position if he’s the best player because things about where you play them generally works it’s way out
Besides we will have a guard opening and many very good tackles start at guard, or injury makes an opening
Just collect good players

Yup, time to replace him....he's great but not reliable anymore....He had a great career with us...he'll probably retire next year...

I joke… I joke…. He better be far far away…

What surgery did Tyron Smith have in 2020?

Answer: He underwent neck surgery last season, costing him 14 games. “Honestly feeling great, finally got the neck fixed, and I think that kind of connected to everything with the back,” Smith said Thursday, via David Helman of the team website. “I'm glad I finally got it fixed after all these years.”Jun 3, 2021

Today, Tyron is getting an MRI on his neck. Looks like it might be related to the previous injury/neck surgery. Not good.
Anyone that thinks this is nothing to worry about is kidding themselves.

Bull****

I don’t need to read 11 pages of a thread.

Smith is on borrowed time.

you have to be an idiot not to see it.
Lol, he has been dominant this season and hasn't missed a snap. All players are on borrowed time.

I don't blame most Cowboys fans in this.

It's kind of a football PTSD to see Smith go down and then the entire team become an instant dumpster fire.

It’s funny to watch the overreacting when we really have no clue. As someone pointed out earlier it was talked about that they’d do MRI’s periodically on his neck, and there is a tweet that states it appears to be more precautionary. I’ll take the wait and see approach myself.
