Its one thing to say it’s something that happens with big leads, it’s another thing when It’s more than anyone ever

again though your acting like thats a given to continue....so is everything that has happened so far a given to continue? I'm cool with that as that means we should win every game while giving up passing yards to teams down big....

We won't know more about them until the games are tighter. The Chargers and Bucs both have prolific passing games and the other teams were destroyed. I dont deny they need to get better, but the current formula is still a winning one. There are very few teams that can afford a shoot out with Dallas. Brown has also gotten better as the season has gone on, and we will see what Joseph brings to the table shortly. The safeties aren't a concern.

Diggs is being credited for giving up a lot of yards as well. Except it doesn't matter because he makes stops when he needs to and takes the ball away. Ask PFF what they think about him, it doesn't check out.

But that’s the same as saying why ever make a trade because the team could suddenly change. All we know of the 2021 Cowboys is what we’ve seen this far.

Right how is one pff grade correct when they rate Diggs that way?

Yes you have to do something. If it means bringing up someone else, that could work. But holding on to your draft picks and then watching Dallas lose a shootout in the playoffs would be such a gut punch.

I don’t think Dallas fans realize yet quite how dire this is: Dallas is currently giving up the most passing yards per game in all of nfl history. Meaning even if this was still just a 16 game season, 2021 DC would be known as the worst pass D of all time. Blowing teams out and having them get garbage time yards does inflate it, but 311 YPG allowed is absolutely incredible

You’re gonna have to string a bunch of games together against bad QBs to avoid that stigma… or fix your Cb depth behind Diggs
That’s because Dallas is always way ahead like when they humiliated your Eagles :lmao:

We know it's working, we don't know how deep it will take us. Besides that things change fast in this league.

And what have you seen so far if thats what we go on? are they getting beat starting out or are they going up on teams and winning games....have we seen it getting better each week or is it the same as the worst week which was week 1?

The offense is getting better. The QB who still threw the most yards against you is the one you lost to, not the garbage time boys

In 2001, Seattle traded for GB backup Matt Hasselbeck, giving up 7 spots in the first round AND a third round pick for a 6th round QB with 0 career starts.

in 2002 Miami traded a second round pick for Eagles 5th round backup QB AJ Feeley after 5 starts

In 2005 Dallas traded a 3rd round pick for Texans reserve player Drew Henson despite him being out of Football

In 2007, the Houston Texans traded 2(!) second round picks for Falcons backup QB Matt Shaub.

In 2009 KC traded a 2nd round pick for Matt Cassel after 15 starts of inflated stats with the greatest offense ever seen up to that point.

In 2010 Arizona traded a 2nd round pick and pro bowl CB DRC for Kevin Kolb after… 4 starts(?)

In 2013 the KC Chiefs traded multiple picks, including a 2nd rounder for 49ers demoted backup QB Alex Smith. At the time Smith had never even had a 20 TD season, 4000 yards passing, or a pro bowl invite in his 8 years in the league.

In 2015 the Philadelphia Eagles traded pro bowl QB Nick Foles and a 2nd round pick to the St Louis Rams for disappointing 1st overall pick Sam Bradford.

In 2016 Bradford was then traded to the Vikings for a first round pick after the Eagles just drafted the QB to ultimately replace him… and Bradford having yet another losing season.

In 2020 The Colts traded a 1* and a 3 for Carson Wentz despite being statistically the worst QB in the NFL the previous season.

In 2021 Carolina Panthers traded a 2, a 4, and a 6 for the Failing Jets young QB Sam Darnold

Some of these worked out, some didn’t. But every one was an overpay at the time of the trade due to the team’s desperation at the QB position

And that's my point. Your Eagles team have gotten premium value for lousy quarterbacks for years. No other teams have done that.

That was against the GOAT. He passes on EVERYONE

You can’t just close your eyes and hope he goes away. Or Stafford, or Murray, or Rodgers. Is it about winning regular season games or is it about winning the ones you haven’t been winning for 26 years? You need to stop them from doing that to you come January.

Giving up 380 to a QB is never okay, no matter the name on the back of the jersey

Who cares as long as they win? Also, this is a different team this year. They don't play the same players every year for 26 years in a row. The Cowboys beat the Eagles so bad that they're now in full tank mode.

But they didn’t win…

and we’re not in tank mode just because we traded our backup TE. That’s overly hyperbolic, even for you

He’s saying that he’s triggered. And incredibly jealous that the Cowboys are a very good team while his favorite team is a mess.

That’s abundantly clear.
