I tend to agree with him. its not clear cut that bilicheck is better. there is debates to be had.....Landry similar to bill had 18 straight winning seasons, multiple superbowl wins and multiple superbowl appearances. he had success with multiple QBs as Bilicheck only with Brady who won a superbowl without Bill....Landry added a lot to the game with few schemes of his own. and he was a great leader. Lombardi was also a very great leader, good coach and added a lot to the modern game of football.

the challenge is its different eras so sometimes hard to judge. and both landry and lombardi had much higher integrity than bill. they were never even mentioned with the word cheating, where bill has several asteriks.
Only Cowboys homers will try and say Landry is the GOAT.

It's the same Cowboy homers that try and say Staubach is the GOAT.

Some of ya'll just can't see past the star.

Lol. Again no one was ever better than Vince Lombardi. Guess who’s holding up his trophy. Everybody lol
It must suck living through life thinking that everybody from the 1960s NFL will always be better than guys of today.

Why even watch if you've already peaked?

When you say the goat of all time. That’s Landry. Doesn’t matter whatever. The word all time. You miss him very great football. Makes me sad that you only know what you think you know. Many of us have seen it all from start to finish. We just didn’t show up halfway through

What is this??? hahaha

Get outta here with this junk. This is fan voted BS. That means someone like you and a bunch of your buddies could go on there and vote Dave Campo as the GOAT if ya wanted too.

You need more reliable sources.
not just fans, many writers too...and btw, aren't you just a fan as well?

there are many that do have him as the top coach. but given that he cheated, got caught and penalized twice.....I don't have as much respect for him. plus most these other coaches did it with multiple QBs...he has only seen success with Brady and we all know Brady is the GOAT

That doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. Innovation. It’s very important. But that doesn’t mean it’s better. Look what happened to Philadelphia with Chip Kelly lol just another example. And see how Bill does without the goat. Before he retires

Coaching obviously affects some of every game, but to this fan, this is more the big picture:

New England is starting a rookie quarterback and the Patriots have only beaten the Jets and Texans – who also have rookie QBs. The fact that the Saints, who are the most puzzling team in the league right now, went up to Foxboro and basically whipped the Pats, makes me think the Cowboys could do the same thing.

I think New England will try to keep the timer position even. I think they will pound football and keep pounding it. LV is going to have a big game, or not lol. I love the speed of Cox he’s going to be needed

he will argue to no end. he hates to be proven wrong and it bugs him to no end, so he will argue argue argue...so somewhere along the debate he will try and change the narrative and the measuring stick. he always does. and he already tried in this debate....it started as a debate about all time coaches, now the ones from 60s, 70s don't count only recent coaches....

Not all the time, brother. I keep reading on here that Mike and Fassell are idiots when it comes to decisions like the fake punts and FGs last year, this year when they called an all out effort on blocking a punt which lead to a penalty and a first down. Same thing I heard about Garrett with the icing of his own kicker, bad clock management against the Packers in the playoffs, stupid play calling, etc. Coaches have a lot to do with many of there wins and losses. Key words here "Not all the time" and "a lot." I'm trying to say this is the case 100 percent of the time because we can think of many times where players blew the game too, like Crayton's drop or DeMarco's fumble in the playoff games.
i used neither word in that statement keep in your lane..

most of the time the clear team with the best players win..the rest are upset's and hardly has to do with coaching. Its almost always the players messing it up even those calls you tried to throw in by mike and fassel were wide open and designed great the payers messed them up..yes they were crazy calls but i see LAC coach do the every same things and they are working more times then not..go check all those 4th down and crazy st calls hes called this season..MM can be criticized all you want but ive seen other coaches call the same plays or not call TOs when they are allegedly SUPPOSED to.. i remember the 17 SB winig eagles their coach did those things all season and most of it worked..now hes been fired..ironic huh, also ironic the new coach is worse lmao..whats left most of the same players that who..

fans are not coaches and players tend to mess those designed plays up, all it takes is one Crayton, one demarco, one missed Fg snap, or lets say last year all that talk about that crazy TG day call Ced wilson should have town it it was wide open, he chose to run it wrong decision cost the coach soem coirrtisim..it was a great decisons the team executed, it was Wilson messed it up..that punt in the chargers game was simply a player running into the kicker and IMO was pushed into him never should have been called from my viewpoint..5 yards yes 15 no..again a player/ref messed that call up , wasn't a bad call..

TB12/gronk NE pats were great

BB and the pats the last 18 games =average to below average

the combo of great players and great coaches =dynasty's

I didn't say Landry was the goat. I said there is debates to be had and there will be valid points made on all side of the debate. but you can't deny the results. those are undisputable facts. 18 winning seasons with multiple QBs and 4 superbowls and 2 superbowl wins....he was never mentioned or caught cheating (bilicheck and NE paid penalties for those).....now I am sure you are going to say only superbowl wins count....because that will be your point of debate and only measuring stick.

Parcell’s wouldn’t have won two Super Bowls without Belichick as his defensive coordinator just as he wouldn’t have won six without Brady as his quarterback.

He may not be the greatest coach of all time but he is definitely in the conversation.

or start fast and finish strong.. hmm you cant allow average to bad teams to have hope and stay around those are the type of games you can lose..its why the are called UPSETS
its all important. arguments can be made for each quarter being important......in garrett time we complained and complained and complained incessently about not making half time adjustments....now we do. we have had strong 3rd quarters mostly and made great adjustments...its taking what you see in first half, adjusting your game to it...now, against giants it was slow start, but not against philly, SD, Tampa or chargers.....but hey, lets just focus on the first quarter of one game that we won by 24. were never threatened. because that's all you got!!!....like I said, you want perfection and anything less you will just pick pick pick pick.....4 out of 5 games we started strong....

I tried more than once. To just get along. It’s more about being right then enjoying the game. I don’t get it

Up here in New England. We call Parcells the bully. And bill the brains. But that could be because Parcells left on the not so great terms. But you’re 100% right in my opinion. Just like team it takes a full complement of coaches

I remember Bill Belichick against Pittsburgh. Three times he had a chance to kick field goals. Chose not to do it and lost. I still wonder why. They’re bigger than the game sometimes . I’ve seen many great coaches lose games because of pride wrong decisions

I just like that we keep getting better and better. Especially in the second half. I’ve never seen this team come out with a different outlook. Coaching finally doing coaching. I think we win by 10 Sunday. I don’t think our coaching staff is afraid of New England. No mistakes we win.
